Glad you think it's so funny, Blue...

Okay, actually it is kind of funny.

I have something funnier to share. A "blonde moment," if you will. About 2 weeks ago, I stopped wearing my watch because I noticed it wasn't moving. My mother goes to CVS to get allergy meds for the dog all the time, so I asked her if she could wait until the weekend; while we ran our errands, I'd pick up a watch battery. So this Saturday, we stopped in. I went to the battery area, took out my watch, and when I held it up to try to match the battery, I squeezed the sides of it and felt that little dial pop back in. I just stood there for a minute thinking, you've got to be kidding me. Slowly turned the watch over...yep, the second hand was moving again.

I should have had a V8

On that note...I see we've been talking about redecorating. Well, I got some stuff moved in this weekend, so here is my room in transition. Sorry the first picture is so dark; it's because of the light coming in the window and even though there's a lamp in the room, there's no bulb in it yet.

It's not really all that sudden. KJ's room hasn't been changed since we moved in, when he was 2! lol IT's all little sail boats and his furniture is a bit babyish.

We started Crystina's room and never finished it.

We need to work on our room after that. I need a computer desk and we need new flooring so bad! Our bedroom carpet is disgusting. I'm just torn on what to get. I can never make up my mind, which is why it always takes so long. The guest room needs a new headboard and a few lminor things.

I would love to have it all done by Christmas.

I don't have any plans for the 23rd. Most of the people from my group aren't arriving until Wed. or Thurs. so I did keep Tuesday free.
I will also have my lap top. I will PM you my phone # too.
I'm so hoping for a room overlooking the pool. But, they never seem to honor requests at the BCV's. I have lots of Halloween decorations to put up!
Will you have a car? If not I will be more than happy to pick up anything you need.

Hangover is receding. I'm happy to report that my headache is going away, but I'm still tired and now I have an awful case of the munchies.

I'm gonna have a DIS hangover soon. It's so dreary here today, I don't feel like doing anything. But, I do need to get to work soon. Thank God.

Today at school I had 2 "fun" experiences. First I was helping a first grader clean up her chocolate milk that she spilled all over the carpet. We got it all cleaned up and we were moving on when she stood up and bumped the milk and poured the remainder of the milk all over my shirt. My white shirt. Chocolate milk on a white shirt really does look and feel very nice. Especially on an extremely hotT day in a building with no air conditioning.

Then, I needed to cut a circle out of a piece of paper. Instead of folding the paper in half like we tell the kids to do I just jabbed the scissors through the paper because I wanted to get it done fast because I needed it for a lesson. As you may be able to guess, I actually jabbed the scissors right into my finger. It didn't stop bleeding the whole morning and it hurt like heck, it was pretty deep. I may or may not have uttered a few choice words. Thank goodness there were no children around.

I'm heading to class, hope everyone had a good Monday.

I just PM'd you. I will have my laptop too, but also my e-mail comes thru on my phone so you can call or e-mail me. We have shipped the bar down early so it will be waiting for us upon check-in. Although I have found that the Beach Club makes a very charming Rum Runner! Goes down oh so smoothly!
