Hey Jean and Squiddy! Just popping in for a few minutes from work today (hopefully they won't give me any!) Sorry I missed you guys. Those darn kids and their homework. And yes, I still have my lovely slippers. I just don't know where Maybe one of my dogs did something with them or else I've kicked them under the bed and I'm scared to look under there Uh, oh, I think hear work a'coming. I'll try to stop in and say "hi" tonight.

Maybe I'm being oversensitive, but I feel like certain people are trying to give me a not-so-subtle message. It's barely 60 degrees here, and one of the girls who moved into our work area came in this morning and cranked up the AC. I was freezing within minutes, so I put on my 2 sweaters and even had to put a blanket in my lap. It's 3 hours later, and she came back into the room and started asking people if they were cold. She didn't ask me, but I thought it was obvious. I did turn around and say, "I need to speak up; please turn it down some because I'm freezing." She blatantly ignored me. I know she heard me, because her eyes moved in my direction. I can't help that I'm always cold, and I'm willing to compromise...guess you can't force someone to meet you halfway, though.

Maybe next year. My counselor and I talked about it, and she feels that I've had so much happen this year that it's not the time to change jobs. I actually would rather go back to school anyway, and I don't want the stress of that plus changing jobs, too. I'll probably look into both, and if a new job should fall into my lap, I'd most likely take it, but I don't know that I can actively do both at the same time.

We took a ride to Key West yesterday, which sounded like a great idea until it was time to head back
It was beautiful though. Sunset was so pretty. I took some pictures, later I'll uplaod them to share.

For the record, I'm just kidding about posting in more than one place on the CB. Don't get your panties in a wad over it!

I feel your pain on this one since I live in apartment of freezing. I have just resigned myself to sweatshirts and blankets. I seriously have my down comforter wrapped around me most of the time and my roommates laugh about it. I don't think it's funny, they're the insane ones who keep the dang thermostat on 65 friggin degrees!!!!! Idiots.

I was up most of the night on and off. I'm going to try to lay down for awhile since it's my half day. I have a few errands I should run but I'm emotionally drained and I think I would be a hazardous driver.

Yikes! Pretty foolish of management to allow a lot of hands on the thermostat! Let alone freezing, having the AC below 75 is a freakin' waste of $$$. I think you need to make a money saving suggestion to top management!
