The DIS is too slow for me today. I'm going to finish putting away the rest of the decorations then head to work.
Have a good one nuts!! Good to "see" you all.

I had my first glasses of Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr. Pepper last night. Hmmm, jury is still out but I'm definitely leaning towards plain Diet Dr. Pepper is better. DW said it tasted mostly like chocolate and she couldn't hardly even taste the cherry part. I, on the other hand, definitely could taste the cherry and I think that is why I didn't care too much for it. I don't like cherry flavored soft drinks but Chocolate Diet Cokes (mixed at the fountain -- this drink is not available packaged so don't go looking for it ) are a huge favorite of mine.

However, I've read some places that 2008 is going to be the year of the chocolate soft drinks (cherry and vanilla are pretty much played out) so that canned Chocolate Diet Coke might be coming along soon enough! :thumbsup2

Chocolate root beer is also good!

What happened to Liz???

I think she may have gotten weak also and left for a bit :rotfl:

No, someone dumped 20 architectural projects in the bin and took off for the weekend. We all know Psycho Sue isn't going to touch those kind of projects, so I kind of had to lay low to get them done. Then I went to lunch, and now I'm STILL working on them. 3 hours...

But do you think it's good enough if you have a coupon for a free 2-liter bottle?

Oh, yes, definitely. Especially if you like cherry flavored soft drinks. Heck, I'd probably even BUY one bottle of it (I think my DW did pay for it) just to try it out.

I haven’t seen much about peoples “Resolutions” for the New Year

So here are mine they are pretty much the same as last year…and I am proud to say that I was able to accomplish all of them last year

1) Loose at least 10% more hair from my head

2) Have that 10% start growing in places it shouldn’t

3) Increase the Gray of the remaining hair by 25%

4) Put on more weight than I care to think about

5) Eat as much stuff that is bad for me as humanly possible

6) Lose my temper over the most ridiculous things possible

7) Refuse to let Bygones be Bygones with family members

And the most important one

8) DIS as much as possible

So how about the rest of you?

Then I'm sold. I  wild cherry Pepsi. I really should cut out soda altogether...but it tastes so good with the SoCo thrown in!

My resolution is the same as every year. I resolve not to make resolutions. I've always kept it! :thumbsup2

I didn't know that. Calandra is a beautiful name :thumbsup2

Thank You :)

Cherry Coke is my favorite!! Although I haven't had a soda since Jan. 1. I'm trying to cut back on my soda drinking but I think I'm going to have to try this diet chocolate Dr. Pepper. Sounds pretty interesting.

I haven't seen it in stores around here or maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Wonder if it comes in the non-diet version...

Goofster57, I didn't come up with any resolutions..... I suppose I could adopt your #8. It sounds like a realistic goal. :cutie:

Uh OH

You're gonna be in trouble when she gets back :rolleyes1

UGH...Just what you needed on a Friday afternoon :headache:

BLECH

I already responded to this elsewhere ;)

Not for me...I'm trying to cut back.

As you can see today was a bust :teeth:

Keith -- the pic in your siggy reminded me of something. When I went to see Craig Ferguson last Friday night, he was talking about how he's travelled extensively, been to several different countries, and about how much he loves the United States (he's a Scottish "subject of the Queen" working on becoming a U.S. citizen). Anyway, he talked about Canada and how, "Well, it's alright but, really," he said, "Let's face it, Canada is the apartment above the party. They're the upstairs neighbors wishing they were at the party." :rotfl2:

Rob,
I think I would invest in a disguise for a day or two. Now I know you didn't say the second one, but you know how those Canadian Women can be.

Having multiple women after you may not be a good thing in this instance..:lmao:

Hello, Nuts. I have nothing interesting or out of the ordinary to report. I am actually kind of looking forward to going home tomorrow. It's time. Although, I don't know how Chef Mickey's will carry on without me. Anyway, I am not supposed to be on the internet right now so I have to go. We're headed to the luau at the Polynesian but I just wanted to check in. Talk to y'all soon!

Who was that masked woman? :confused3

-- Rob

What's a masked woman? Is this some kind of a joke I don't get?
You don't get it because it refers to 1950s television, reruns of which I used to see in the 1970s. Specifically, The Lone Ranger television series and its often uttered phrase "Who was that masked man?" which was a reference to the Lone Ranger himself. (betya a babyN would understand this reference)

Anyway, as a play on that phrase, I altered it to "Who was that masked woman" in reference to you.

On a completely different topic, I've stopped eating Lucky Charms and switched to Special K (at least for awhile). Seriously. It sucks getting old(er).
