It is afternoon already?? Guess so...at least the day is going fast.

I LOVE Universal and the resorts (see tag).
How was it? Had you been before?

It was great. We were there Wed through Sun. We had been once before, and stayed at Royal Pacific. My youngest learned to walk at Universal. This time The Mummy and Shrek were new to us. We also had not done the Beetlejuice show, and I had not done Men in Black. I was not happy getting swallowed by a giant cockroach. I am rather phobic about bugs and that was just a bit much for me. We had some huge drenching rains so that helped with the heat. My little one was thrilled that he got the bike with ET in the basket on our last day. The fireworks on the 4th were great.

Well, I don't know that we know when she actually starts in at Chef Mickey's. She said she started working on Monday (see the bolded part of the quote below) but that may have been a day of orientation and training and she may not have actually done any true work. Who knows without her coming back here to tell us how things are going?

Y'all I'm kind of freaking out a little. In the way where I know absolutely nothing I didn't know that you have to show a passport or a social security card to get a job. I thought my drivers license would be enough. So, my mom overnighted my passport to me and it was supposed to get here between 6 and 8am and it didn't come. I need it so I can go to training on Monday.

I'm sure it was just a black Corvette, but it was lower to the ground than usual, the tire area came up really high, and the windows were tinted almost as black as the car. In the rearview mirror, it looked just like the Batmobile.

just got back from the hottie dentist. I'm thinking of the Seinfeld episode. anyway he said "you have the prettiest mouth I've seen all week" and I have "beautiful teeth" I think my appointment went really well, dontcha think?

Just a drive-by for now (again!!). Jeff's birthday was yesterday, Brett's is tomorrow and I've got a gaggle of people coming over in about an hour to celebrate both. Anyhoo...we're off to the beach tomorrow with 2 of Brett's little buddies (GREAT....extra kids to prevent from drowning!!! ).

Just wanted to asy HI...............HI!!!!!

I love the Mummy ride, it's my favorite and I also love MIB!
Isn't the express acess the best? Especially on a holiday week.

Well, when I left Miami it was just a beautiful day!! I'm back in Ft. Myers for a few days and it's hot as you know where!

BTW, Davy Jones was hanging out with his poodle when I left. I said good-bye to him I crack up every time I see him.
