Well, it will be 18 years here for me in December. One trend in this firm though is to bring contracting firms in and have them take over your job. You still physically work here and do much of the same thing but you no longer are employed by Corporation A but instead now work for Corporation B who Corporation A now has a contract with. We've done that with most of Information Technology and our Security department. The rest of IT (which would be me), food services (employee cafeteria and meeting catering and such), and janitorial services are being looked at now to see if there are any savings to be had there by doing such a switch.18 years! Whoa!
Longest time I've ever worked in one place was 6 years, 3 months. Architects tend to move around every couple of years though, lots of churning in the industry. At the end of August, our firm will be established for 3 years. I plan on leaving here in a pine box. I'm 37 now, so I hope that's many, many, many years in the future.

Fine, fine, I'll call.
You really are a funny one!!! Innocent Roberto??!! HA!

How are you? How's your mom? The trip was fantastic and now I'm in Orlando for the rest of the summer to work. (if the UPS will cooperate with my plans) Great to see you!
(you know, what with PJ dragging us along in the gutter and all).
Sure, blame poor little PJ again. You're just glad she's here so you can talk about Kansas City BBQ again.
