Hey there sweetie!!! You're still here!!! How are you???

I'm FABULOUS (of course!! ) but just a wee bit tired today. I think I'll be recovered enough to party on line later with everybody but I'm sure feeling the effects of our late, late night right now!!! Whatever happened to my good ol' part-ay days anyways???? I used to be able to do the late night thing every Thurs, Fri and Sat!!!!!

*sigh* I ain't no PJ anymore.

I KNOW!!!!! I've been so out of the loop latley!!!! I PROMISE I'll be around tonight and have decided that, no matter what, I MUST have some DIS time EVERY day from now on!!!!

Right now I'm going to chill out but I'll be back around 8 or so.....and then probably around 1am or so......and then about 4:30am or so.......and after that...........

Yep...we took Brett and one of his friends. Thankfully the other kid didn't make it to the 2nd feature cuz that one was 'Knocked Up'!!! Pretty funny but HOLY GRAPHIC!!!! I could just see his Mom's face when he told her all about the sex scenes!!! My kid watched every last bit of it!!!!

I hope to be around late tonight but sometimes Saturday nights are hard because sometimes everyone else in the house also stays up late. We'll see.

I'm off to the pool now. Finally! (first time this year) Hopefully there will be lots of bikini-clad women and they will all be ones that should be wearing bikinis! And, if you gals are lucky, I might even post a pic of me in my Speedo.

Just got home...my mother and I went to the Goodspeed Opera House today to see Singin' in the Rain. It was her birthday present (which was on Thursday). We loved it! It was great to get out - the first thing she said in the car was "Freedom!"

I've been coughing on and off and sweating pretty badly for a week. I'm also really tired. Doctor said it's either severe upper respiratory infection or possible early pneumonia in my right lung. The pneumonia meds aren't working, so I guess it's the RI. Hope it goes away soon. I was so worried that I wasn't going to be able to keep from coughing during the play, but I was pretty much okay!

I don't know what to say about Gram right now. Monday she was so bad that the nurse gave us the 1-2 weeks thing. Now she seems stronger and today she was really irritable that my mother and I were going out. So I don't know now. Take it as it comes, I guess.

The pics are of my grandparents. I'm not sure exactly when the one of Grandpa was taken - probably in '44 or so, toward the end of the war. That's my favourite picture ever of him. I remember as a little girl, seeing it on Gram's dresser and telling her I wanted it someday. The one of Gram was taken in '45, I think; she was about 17. She was a bridesmaid in someone's wedding. I have lots of old pictures of my family - I've always liked things like that.
