Hi Lisa! If you don't read back, you miss all the fun (you can just skip the postings by PJ to save time :rotfl2: ). I guess I just won't be "witty" unless you're around... *sigh*

Always do!!!!! :lmao:

Why hello! Don't worry, I don't think we covered anything important. Let me summarize for you: Rob is still a tool and he's not in charge here, GoDaddy thinks he can speak multiple languages, Cheryl likes to clean, Liz likes to dream, and I think that's about it. Oh, and Rella's still alive but I'm sure you knew that.

You'll miss me when I'm gone.

BTW the UPS man came while we were at the pool.

Thanks PJ!!!!! You're the best!!! :yay: But...now that I'm semi-intrigued by the cliff-note version of the day's events here on Nuts, I just MAY have to go back and read it all now!!!! :surfweb:

Have to get something to eat right now. popcorn:: Haven't been able to since last night. :headache: I'm still sort of fogged from the anaesthesia too so I'll be back in a bit when I'm more 'with it'!!!! :upsidedow

Let me put it into language PJ can understand.

UPS= Cute, young, hunky guys in brown shorts that come to your door with packages you want.

USPO= Govt. employees in gray/blue uniforms, mostly in cars, that deliver the unwanted bills <G>
no offense to any people that work for teh USPO

Upon awakening from her night's slumber, a woman told her husband, "I just dreamed you gave me a fabulous pearl necklace for our anniversary. What do you think it means?" The husband replied, "You'll know tonight."

That evening, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it to find a book titled The Meaning of Dreams.

That certainly ended differently than I orginanlly envisioned.

8 pages in 1 day!!!!!!!!!

WOWZA!!!!!!! :yay: You guys are goooooood!!!!!!!!! :cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2:

I'm NOT reading back all of that though so I'll just say..........HELLO!!!! :grouphug:

Lisa, if you're in a drug-induced fog, NOW is the time you want to be posting (and chatting on MSN too)! ;)

Hi Tiff!

Hi Cheryl!

I am heading out. TTYL.

ACKKK It's still raining here. It's so gloomy. I hate these kinds of days.
Makes me feel crappy. DH went back home, toilet is still leaking @@.
I can't even go anywhere. The kids are having a ball in the rain. they are playing baseball on the beach.
So, I don't want to interupt KJ from having such a good time.
Oh well, just thought I'd vent.

Another thing you have now learned on this thread, PJ!!! I'm not sure you really even need to go to college with us here to help you. :rotfl2:

One has been in business since 1775 and the other one started in 1907. One is a corporation and one is a governmental agency. One comes to your home only when they need to and one comes to your home six days a week just to see if you have anything you'd like to mail out.

UPS = United Parcel Service; USPS = United States Postal Service.

-- Rob
So if this came from the USPS those are the ones who come only when they need to? And then things like FedEx are entirely different?

Always do!!!!! :lmao:
 Now you're just a big old bully too!

Yeah, well, we'll just see when I do another summary for you.

I highly prefer your explanation. I would have understood it even better if you had texted it to me. ;)

Yay. You got your card.
:woohoo: Yep! You may all rest easy tonight now.

There, there little Cheryl. Maybe tomorrow will bring sun. Otherwise maybe KJ would like to make a trip to Orlando for the day.

I'm heading out for the night, have a good one all. :grouphug:

Just a drive by to say hello to you all

No time to read back or quote again :headache:

No, the USPS is the United States Postal Service -- they generally come by six days a week just to see if you have anything. Yes, FedEx is a separate CORPORATION that is much like UPS, only they generally have white trucks instead of brown trucks.

The only thing wrong with Cheryl's explanation is she made up another acronym (USPO) which one would think would have confused you more but instead somehow clarified it for you. :scratchin

LOL I realized my mistake later but didn't think it mattered all that much. lol

WTH was I thinking taking a morning shift????????????

  :headache: :guilty:

Morning, Nutters...I'm sleepy. My friend Danielle, who I have not seen in 5 years, came over last night. We talked until 11:30 and it was after midnight before I got to bed. What a great night...it's like we never stopped talking! We went out for a while, then back home and went through all my books; I've been invited to a bachelorette party for later this month, I have a date for the Police concert (yeah, a date with a girl friend, so what?), and possibly help moving, even though that's four months away. It was the best night I've had in ages!

Maybe, with your own personal experience, you understand the workings of a college girl's brain better than we do.

That's great Liz! I'm glad you had an enjoyable evening. :) :yay: :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

Well what in the heck happened here? I spend the day by the pool and all chatting comes to an end? :confused3 I know I'm Chatty McChatster and all but come on, people, step it up!

I'm more complex than you had imagined. ;)

Wonderful, Liz!! :cheer2: I'm so glad to hear that! Hopefully you 2 can stay in touch now.

Hope your morning shift went well, Blue. :headache:

It is storming like crazy here! Man! It doesn't storm like this in Ohio. And I'm apparently talking to myself here so maybe I'll go be productive and check back later.

Hi all~

Just got back a couple of hours ago....just wanted to stop by and say hi.:yay:

It is storming like crazy here! Man! It doesn't storm like this in Ohio. And I'm apparently talking to myself here so maybe I'll go be productive and check back later.

It's starting to storm here now. Did you blow them my way?????
Gotta love these violent afternoon storms.

Surely you knew about Orlando's daily summertime rains (or, as you more accurately put it, storms)? :confused3 Not that I've been to Orlando a lot in the summer but the six times or so I have been, it's rained hard, every day -- usually in the afternoon, but only for a short while.

Seriously, I just looked at www.accuweather.com for Orlando -- here is what it says for the 15-day forecast: thunderstorms! (not a single day says sunny) Specifically...
7/6 -- a couple of thunderstorms
7/7 -- an afternoon thunderstorm
7/8 -- an afternoon thunderstorm
7/9 -- a p.m. t-storm possible
7/10 -- a p.m. t-storm possible
7/11 -- a p.m. t-storm in spots
7/12 -- a p.m. t-storm possible
7/13 -- mostly cloudy and humid (Rob's comment -- I still bet it rains)
7/14 -- mostly cloudy and humid (Rob's comment -- I still bet it rains)
7/15 -- mostly cloudy and humid (Rob's comment -- I still bet it rains)
7/16 -- a couple of thunderstorms
7/17 -- mostly cloudy and humid (Rob's comment -- I still bet it rains)
7/18 -- rather cloudy (Rob's comment -- I still bet it rains)
7/19 -- a couple of thunderstorms
7/20 -- overcast; t-storms; humid

And I bet if you could see the next 15 days past 7/20, they would say the same thing.

Enjoy sunny Orlando! :rotfl2: Actually, it's not so bad because like I said the rain doesn't last long usually.
