PJ and Cheryl's Great Adventures: Part II

Here you go, Cheryl, you'll have plenty to comment on tonight now. I expect 2 things of you:

1. Add pictures.

2. No whining.

Where was I? I don't even remember.

Ah yes.

It was a busy night at Chef Mickey's. Our computer system went down so when people came up to check in for their reservations we just had to write their last names down and then ask them to stay in the area so we could call them when their table was ready. The pager system is linked to the computers so we had no pagers either! What people didn't know is that we didn't have the list of ADR's so really anyone could have come up claiming to have a reservation and we would have let them in because we couldn't check if they were telling the truth or not with no computers.

Because of all the computer crap we were waaaaay behind on ADR's. I think around 45 minutes behind. Guests were cranky and we were all stressed. Of course I was greeter that night so all the guests were coming up to me and complaining about the wait times and I was just like AAAAAAAAAHHHH!

Then some random woman walked up with the cutest little blonde boy who said to me "Hi, PJ!!!" PJ? Did someone just call me PJ? A guest? A guest just called me PJ? Why does a guest even know my name much less know a random nickname I got from online? Then I heard Cheryl. "Lauren, it's Cheryl!"

I had been so stressed out that I completely forgot I was going to have visitors! OMG IT'S CHERYL!!!!!!!! By this point our computers were back up so I may or may not have let Cheryl and KJ into the restaurant even though they didn't have a reservation. It sucked though because I was the only person up by the podium who was trained in greeter so I couldn't leave the podium for even 5 seconds.

So here it is, this momentuous occasion, I get to meet Cheryl irl for the first time ever and....I can't even hug her. That part of the meet was not ideal.

Then my friend came over and she's trained in greeter so I grabbed her to greet for a few minutes and just then I saw Cheryl walking back to the podium with her pager going off! "I can take that for you ma'am, allow me to show you to your table!"

Already Cheryl was whining.

It's too loud in here.

I don't want any characters anywhere near me.

Whhaaaat???? Excuse me? This is Chef MICKEY'S. It is a CHARACTER BUFFET.

But she insisted she didn't want those characters coming to her table. Whatever, crazy lady, I'll let the attendant know to have them skip your table. But guess what? I didn't actually tell the attendant because I'm evil and I wanted Cheryl to have to see the characters.

Does Cheryl completely freak out? Do the characters come to her table? All this and more.

p.s. My sister just called me to let me know that Ariel was able to have a private meet and greet with Blue and her family today. Not sure how my sister would have that information. She said Heidi was very nice, very Canadian, and she gave her a hug from me! How sweet. She also thoroughly enjoyed that they were all wearing MATCHING Pirates of the Caribbean shirts.

Seems like we heard that complaint about CM's before she even left.

See? It's thoughts like this / people like you that will have my poor DS6 in therapy for years ever since the Chip-under-the-table incident. I hope Cheryl didn't freak out and break out crying and sobbing.

p.s. My sister just called me to let me know that Ariel was able to have a private meet and greet with Blue and her family today. Not sure how my sister would have that information. OMG! This makes several of your "fake friends" that your sister has met now, in fact of this latest group, she has met even more than you have. She might start to think we're normal human beings. It was very nice of Ariel to do this.
