Mix CD for a first timer! Advice?

As you may have read in previous posts I am taking my g/f to WDW for her first time for her birthday... Along with the Itenerary, and a few other little things I am giving her on her actual b-day I thought that mix-CD would be a neat add-on to get her pumped for the WDW Experience, so far I have on the list:

Zippidy Doo Dah
Hakuna Matata
A Whole New World
- and - When You Wish Upon a Star

That leaves a whole lot of empty CD Space!

What would be some other good songs?! Not neccesarily Disney, but keeping with such a theme.

I got the 5 Classic Disney CD's on e-bay for $35! It was an awesome deal! Otherwise I'd suggest: Can't Wait to be King, Part of Your World, Some Day my Prince Will Come, Laughing Place, Be Our Guest, Kiss the Girl, Under the Sea, Heigh Ho, So This is Love, etc. Go to Amazon, Look up the Classic Disney CD's and check out the songs!

Look at what songs are on the Disney Mania CD's. There is 3 of them out. They have some great songs on them. You can find the songs you want and add them to your own cd. Have a great time!!!

How about "Remember The Magic". It was the theme song during my CP in the Spring of 1997 during the 25th Celebration. Definately "A Whole New World" too!! Bringing back the memories of WDW Traditions. LOL Have fun! Rebecca

Also this site has some great MP3 sounds and music from the parks,WDW sounds quality isn't great on all, but definately makes you feel the magic. We love it when we are " Home sick"

I would say go with Kiss the girl from the Little Mermaid and I wont say I'm in love from Hercules. Both cute sort of romantic songs.

OMG! There are SOOOO many wonderful Disney songs, it is hard to choose. But, I would say that "The Tiki Room" song ALWAYS puts a smile on my face.

I am the queen of mix-cds. We always drive from VA to FL, so we go through many states. So, I made a mix-cd for every state that we went through. Each state had music that mentioned that state, or reminded me of that state. (Example: Georgia - "Georgia on My Mind", "Watermellon Crawl", etc.) I ended up making several, TN, NC, SC, GA, and FL. I did not make one for VA since we live one block from TN, literally! Anyway, the last one I made was for WDW, and it included different Disney songs from movies, and even some actual ride commentary that I was able to download online! This was all a surprise for my DH! He thought I was nuts, but was really touched that I went to all that trouble! OK, go ahead and tell me I have OCD!! LOL

"Once Upon A Dream" from Sleeping Beauty, my favorite and it makes me think of Wishes when I hear it. Or how about just the entire Wishes soundtrack???
