Misunderstanding

I have deleted all my post concerning PBH recently.:( :( I thought I was helping people by posting here but someone obviously has misunderstood a post and it has extremly upset me. I am sorry you misunderstood my intentions and my post if they were not clear.:(

I'm sorry you had to do that! I always read your PBH posts. I have stopped answering questions on that resort because you do such a great job of it! :D I'm sure it *must* have been a misunderstanding!:(
 
Someone from the boards called PBH guest services and told them I posted that they could guartee them a suite. The person that called was not even a gold or platuim memeber with lowes. As we all know no one is guarantee anything till you actually get there. I don't remember making such a statement but maybe I was'nt clear in one of my post dunno? Just did'nt want that to happen again.

I called PBH guest relations to ask about getting a King Size bed in the West Wing and they were just as nice as they could be, actually said it was already taken care of. Hopefully no one will call Guest Relations and abuse the generosity they have shown to so many.

Bottom line, if you want a suite, pay for one, if you get lucky and are offered an upgrade be very appreciative. Sadly the adage "no good deed goes unpunished" could not be more appropos! Don't let a few tactless (and tacky) people make you stop being so willing to share with others.
 
Meesie thank you for you post that was so nice of you. I'm tickled your request was granted. They are so willing to help meet your needs. I'm truely saddened by the actions last night of this lady. I surely never meant that by called them you'd get anything guarteed to you. What I don't understand is the lady was'nt a gold or platuim member. Oh well I'll let it go.

I'm sorry you were misunderstood. Unfortunately a message board such as this is inhabited by people and people make choices and mistakes. Believe me, I wish I had a dime for everytime I was misunderstood and treated horribly... :rolleyes:

Needless to say, you are a treasure on this board! I hate the idea that you feel sad about anything and believe me, you bring a wealth of knowledge and a spirit like I haven't seen in awhile around these parts!

I, for one, appreciate all you do!

I think it's plain tacky that someone would quote a poster on here to try and secure themselves an upgrade. I'd like to think that the majority of us realize that an upgrade is a generous gift from the hotel, not an automatic right.

And for the record, your posts have always been crystal clear to me.
 
PLease don't stop posting abput PBH. Even though I have been there, reading about PBH is my "Calgon Take Me Away!" relaxation!

You put so much time into your posts and have given us so much info....

The majority of us realize that upgrades are not a "sure" thing. I have been upgraded twice in my stays and not upgraded 3 times. Its just the luck of the draw.

I really appriciate everyone's support. I was really down when this all happened last night. I just thought maybe I lost my mind and posted something incorrectly about upgrades. I you guys I put a lot of effort into making my families dollar go as far as I can strecth it. Sharing tips is what this is all about. For the life of me I can't figure out where or when I posted such a thing about getting something guarteed and then throwing my name out there saying I "said". OMG I bout fell out girls. Your support and letting me know I'm not nuts is appreiciated.LOL I'm sure I will pass along info from time to time but I'm make dang sure without a doubt it's clear from now on.
 
Don't worry about it. I'm sure it wasn't your fault. People are nutty.

The only thing I can say in that person's defense is that if you're new to all this - affinity cards and room requests, especially - the volume of information can be overwhelming!

Your post was very clear.
Asking and Demanding are not interchangable. Some have not learned that yet. Just because someone did something nice for you does not obligate them to do it for everyone.
Nobody has a claim to Random acts of Kindness. :smooth:

I've read most of your recent posts about PBH and you NEVER posted anything about a suite upgrade being guaranteed. My guess is someone tried to use your good name for bad things. Don't let it get you down. Those of us headed for PBH appreciate all of your help. Thanks again ...

Your post are the reason we are staying at the PBH for our first on-site trip!!

If you don't post anymore I will be forced to PM you to get your great advice. I never had to ask any questions about PBH because your post are so informitive.

I have read every one of your post and you seemed very surprised about your upgrade and very thankful, not entitled.

This is more than likely one of the same people who b--tch about not getting towel animals or birthday/anniversary gifts at WDW after they have seen a post from someone else who was excited and suprised that they got it!

I too loved your posts and am now staying at PB in Dec. because of them. I never got the idea that an upgrade was anything but good luck or the result of point accumulation. You're not this person's travel agent, they had no right to use your name. Please keep posting, you are one reason I keep checking the Universal Boards.
 
Ditto to all the things said above. I do so enjoy your pictures, information, etc. I often feel as if I have gone to the PBH again when I read your wonderful posts!! Keep up the good work and don't let the turkey's get you down!!

I am overwelmed by the support for all of you. I am like all of you who just count the days till our return to our beloved parks and onsite hotels. I just love PBH and am in awe of the place and the people who work there. For those of us that have stayed there I'm sure we all could agree the level of service you recieve there is unparrelled (sp) to places we've ever stayed. Thank you for saying such nice things and I will continue to add to this board all I just ask that if I'm not perfectly clear please ask again or don't hesitate to correct me.
