We just had our wedding on October 29th and used Misty for the photography. I didn't use her for makeup, as we were doing the MKPS the same day as the ceremony, and I didn't want to make her come that early and then try and start the photography several hours later.
We haven't seen any of the pictures yet, but working with her and her husband was great! They were fantastic about doing what we wanted as well as suggesting photos. We had an intimate ceremony, and we went with a 6 hour, cd only package. My DH felt that was WAY too long, I think, but to get what I wanted, it was about right.
We didn't do any of the traditional "getting ready"photos, as I didn't reallly care about those. We started photography at about 8 a.m. after the MKPS, and had her meet us at the Wedding Pavilion. We rode over there from Shades of Green in the limo, and she started shooting us as we got out of the limo. Our wedding was at 10 a.m., and we used all the time before to take all the family shots and to get as much of the shots around the Pavilion as possible.
After the ceremony, we got a few more outside before we moved over to the Grand Floridian. They took pictures during the cake and champagne reception and first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance. We also made sure they got shots of everyone attending the wedding.
At that point, We told everyone to meet us at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge at 2 p.m. for lunch. DH, my sister (also my MOH), and her husband, and I all went with Misty and her husband to get pictures. (Getting some nice pictures of my sis and her DH was my MOH present to my sis.) We took a few at the Grand Floridian, but I feel like a lot of the settings there are similar to what you could get anywhere, and I wanted Disney unique pictures.
So, we then took the limo which dropped us off outside of Epcot. We got some nice shots outside of Epcot, including some with the monorail in the background, then took the monorail to the TTC. From there, we took the ferry to the MK, and got some really incredible (well, I hope so, they looked like they should be incredible) shots on the ferry on the way over. Took more shots outside the MK, then took the monorail over to the Polynesian. We happened upon a Lassen dolphin sculpture, which was really lucky, because dolphins are my favorites - my DH gave me a private training session with the dolphins at the aquarium for our engagement - and got a picture with that, and then more pictures several places around the Poly before we took the boats to go to the Wilderness lodge.
We got a few more shots around the Wilderness lodge before lunch, and they even got a few shots of the start of lunch for us.
My DH was not real happy about all the walking - 6 hours of pictures in tux shoes was not his idea of fun! But Misty and her husband were great about getting all the location shots!
