We bought our small, hand-held mister fans at Rite Aid 2 Springs ago and they work really well! I'm not sure if they are still available in stores or not, but they are available online.
I got the larger sized battery operated $6 ones at Walmart, but I am going to try to check Target or another store to see if I can find smaller ones, cause the large ones will be hard to pack.
Yep I found them at walmart in the regular fan section and later saw some on an end cap somewhere not related to cooling. I would ask if you can't find them as they do have them currently- there were two different styles but I did not see the ones with batteries.
So the little ones are in the fan sections too. I was all through my Walmarts camping section looking for them. I bought the big ones a couple of weeks ago but don't want to carry them around. I guess I am back to Walmart tomorrow!
I found mine at walmart, but they are just the hand held ones, not mister. They were 1.50. I found them close the the auto parts section on an end cap.
I have the rather large sized Misting Fans from Walmart (The $6 ones). Would these be acceptable in carry on bag, as long as they don't have any liquid in them? If DME doesn't get the luggage delivered right away, I wouldn't want to be w/o the fans if we do go into one park the day we arrive (if I pack them in the checked bag).
Sorry, We got ours at walmart last year by the fans. we bought the small one, pump to mist . but is easy to carry around. I also saw them on line at walgreens.
I got the ones with the fan and the mister that comes with the link so you can hook it on your lanyard or your jeans or whatever. We used these last trip and they worked great! Only $3 at Walmart!
