Just wondered if anyone had used these fans from Dollar Tree. I saw them last night, and one thing I liked about them was that the bottle for the fan was skinny. It wasn't big and cumbersome. My question was how long it would last and do they really work.

I may go buy one this morning and take to the pool with me today. If I do, I'll give ya'll an update.

Thanks - MomlovesDad

I didn't see that one however I did purchase one from Target and I love it. I think it was less than 5 dollars. We go camping ever summer and it will be well worth it! Even though I did buy it for WDW!

I never have much luck with the Dollar Tree misting fans. They always seem to break on me after just a couple of uses. Usually the fan part is okay, it's the trigger/pump that gives out. I wonder if the more expensive ones ($7.99 at Target) would hold up any better?

Good morning!
I have bought a couple of the Dollar Tree fans so that my toddler can play with it to his heart's content and not try to take my Disney fan away! I have not had much luck with the fans from Wal Mart lasting over time. Just like mad4themouse said, something about the trigger/pump gets stuck or just gives out and then they're pretty worthless. I think for a buck though, the Dollar Tree fans aren't as bulky to carry around. I'll take one out of the pkg. and see if my 3 y/o can destroy it, then I'll write back with the results! ;)

We bought ours last summer at Publix outside of WDW for $7.99, they held up great and are still working.

I have not had good luck with some things from the Dollar Tree lately.

I bought a small one at Sportmart last summer that holds up well.

I wish I had brought it with onour flights to Mich earlier this month. We had to fly in small planes twice and they are hot while waiting to take off.

herc.

I have not had luck with Dollar Tree fans lately. I bought two clip on fans from there and they hardly work but on the other hand we bought the Disney spray fan bottles in 2002 onsite for like $15 a piece and before we got home the fan broke off. We were able to fix them with super glue but just pointing out that even the expensive ones aren't that good either. So I say try it for a buck and you might get lucky. HTH

TWO WEEKS UNTIL WE SEE MICKEY!!!!

We bought one last year (the smaller type) it lasted 5 minutes! I got one at Walmart that still works and we took it to WDW 10 days last year.

Sometimes you actually do get what you pay for.........
