Misson Space?

I was just watching local news, (KING TV Seattle), and they announced that Mission Space is now open at WDW!???

My parents are going to WDW for the first time in 2 weeks and I'm hoping the news was true so they'll be able to experience it.

Anyone have any ideas if this is really true?

Mission Space right now is doing Guest Rides only from certain times, They are testing a new soft opening which is happening right now. The grand opening is in Oct I believe. Right now they are picking certain guest to ride it or it is acutally open now. But the times are limited. 4PM TO 9PM. That is what is posted on the boards by others.

We just got back from WDW today after spending 10 wonderful days relaxing and enjoying the magic! My 3 teens and I all rode Mission Space! They all really liked it and I did somewhat -- I could feel the spinning at liftoff and got disoriented but got to feeling better as the ride went on. I never felt sick, though. It did seem to be open soon after 4:00PM most days but not every dayl while we were there. We found that the crowd would even start lining up in front of the ride before 4:00 expecting it to open. I would suggest that anyone going should check it out.
