Is this ride open for everyone or is it just open for annual passholders at this time?

As far as the posts on the board mention it is open to everyone.

It is open to everyone. We just returned yesterday and rode it while we were there. It was a great ride--fairly realistic feel. I have seen lots of posts about people feeling sick afterward. I must admit, "landing" sequence made me a little queasy, but nothing major. Otherwise, a wonderful experience.

Just an FYI. Last week MS and TT were both being kept open until 9:00 although everything else except WS was being closed at 6:00.

We walked right on to both attractions while everyone else was finding seats for Illuminations.

Opened to everyone. No lines on a Monday visit (Sept 22).

Though I got very sick afterwards even with an empty stomach. I kinda expected it, but it's much much worse than any other rides I've been on. I felt very light headed and had to sit in the bathroom for 15 minutes. I don't remember seeing alot of warning signs like Alien Encounter.

Very real though.

Thanks! I don't think we will be riding Mission Space, but will ride TT. Our other coworker and a couple of his friends are going to be there at the end of our trip and they love rides like Mission Space (he is the same age as my oldest)(28). He has been having fits to try out this new ride, so he will be very happy.

You must have been so wrapped up in checking out the cool themeing that you missed the dozens of notices before the ride. You are constantly being told that guests who have problems with enclosed spaces, the dark, and spinning may want to forego the experience. Personally I loved it. I was there for 9 days (2 weeks ago) and rode it 12 times. I loved the game after even more. I think I played that twice for each time I rode the ride!

And don't forget to check out the kiosk as you exit, to send an email from Space. There are many postcards to choose from and they are free to send.

Hey B'rer Karen...
As of next week, you should be able to play the Mission:Space Race game online. It really is addictive, isn't it??

And for anyone who is interested - the high upload total for Mission Controller is 39 uploads.

Thanks Pam! One of the CM's told me that was coming soon, but I didn't know it would be next week already! Woo hoo. I see I will not be getting a lot of housework done :)

And I think 39 uploads is huge. I think the low 20's was my best upload, although I tended to be the astronaut most of the time.
