Mission Space to close???

I am also happy with this decision. My Dd #1 and I loved it when we rode it after it first opened, however my husband could NEVER ride it (motion sicknesss) and my Dd #2 is a little nervous just because she knows Daddy won't ride it. So now, "decaf" for them, and "espresso" for us!

I like the idea, too, as now I can take my son on it. I was never comfortable taking him after I did a test run on it a couple of years ago.

One question though - do the pods do other things besides spinning? Would they at least tilt or vibrate or something? I can't remember all of it - seems like I recall some of that, but I don't know if it was just my imagination as we were spinning. I thought the ride was a bit underwhelming as it was (other than a bit of nausea). It's too bad it's not more visually stimulating. The tiny little monitors just didn't do it for me.

Okay, it wasn't about closing the ride, it was closing the 2 rooms to make slight changes to it's easier on people and they have a choice. Maybe now I'll be able to try it since I didn't go on the ride on prior visits as my my 3 kids never wanted to go on it again.

I honerstly wouldnt mind seeing that attraction go and another one put in its place, but since disney invested all that money into it and it recently opened that is just not going to happen!

Anyone vote to replace it with Lelo and Stitch? No.. I didn;t think so

I like the idea of the tamer version as well. DH cannot do MS d/t motion sickness issues and my 7 yo son has a congenital heart murmur so I don't feel comfortable with him on it. He was so disappointed so maybe this will help ease the blow
