Mission Space testing this week

There are no guarantees at all as it is all testing, but between 4-9 monday - friday this week (June 23-27) Mission Space should be open to guests on and off. If there is anything going on, and people are in there, but the CM says sorry august 15th, it is probably 90% likely that within 15 minutes or so they will be back open. They do that mainly bc the line can't get too long so that the line is visible to guests, because they are 'not open'. Good luck!!

Hopefully you're right. I would very much like to ride it again his week. And I hope even more that they didn't tone it down any more.

Ohhhh...I really, really, really hope we get the chance to test it out! My DS is so into wanting to go to Mars (now mind you, not when he's older!!) - he would be absolutely beside himself if he gets to do this. We leave tomorrow am - YIPPIE!!!

My friend who's a tech at EPCOT told me that they're basically "picking" people to ride on it,there's not really a line.I guess the CM's seek guests out that might be in the area when it's up and running.They're still sorta "testing" it.

He said MS is now the most AWESOME ride in Florida!

I can hardly wait until we go in Oct!!!

They were 'picking' people a long time ago, now they open up the wall in front of the ride, and if you are there, you can go

Is this one of those similator rides like Star Wars? Hope not, they cause digestive wars between my food and my tummy!

Oh heck, I'll give it a try. My two DSs will be chomping at the bit!

Guess you just have to frequent the area to see if people are going in?

Is 4 - 9PM the only time frame that they have been doing MS testing?

That seems to be the case with most people that have posted that they were able to ride. Just wondering if there are any exceptions to the "rule".

We won't be there until 7/3. I wonder if they will still do testing on the 4th? Any ideas???

DH rode M:S on Wednesday. He said it was great. My DS - who can't wait to go to Mars - chickened out after reading/listening to all the warnings. It was the DARK part that got him. I didn't go on, but waited at the end of the ride which I thought was neat. I'm glad DH rode but really disappointed my DS did't. He felt so bad - he let himself down. It was hard watching him fight it...

We rode it twice today, once at 4:00 and then again at 8:00. It was great, including the post ride games. It was not announced, but those "in the know" just showed up a little before 4:00 and they opened it right at 4.

We went by on multiple times on Tuesday and the CM said, "Sorry, opening August 15", so we left. Came back later just to check and it was open. DH and DS went on and loved it. DH doesn't really like rides but said it was awesome.

I am the ride fanatic but chickened out because I don't like spinning rides. Well, DH and DS told me I'd have no problem, so I took 2 Drammamine (just in case)and we went back on Wednesday at 4:00.

They tell you repeatedly that the ride is not for everyone --- believe them! The ride was not for me. I definitely felt the spinning and was nauseous for several hours afterward. Just for comparison's sake -- I ride Star Tours, RNR, Back to the Future and all of these rides with no problem.

One thing that we noticed - we checked the front of the building multiple times during the day to see if the ride was open. Maybe this doesn't mean anything but up until about 3:30, everything was staionary out front, but after 3:30, one of the planets was spinning. Is the spinning planet a sign that the ride is open or about to open?
