We will be at Epcot in a couple of weeks. Are they still previewing Mission Space? Only on weekdays?

Thanks

We were at Epcot on Wednesday 7/16 and they weren't previewing. They had tall bushes across the entrances with CM's saying it opens on August 15.
We were there on Saturday 7/19 around 6 pm and they had it open for previews. Bushes were gone and there was a sign on the walkway saying "preview". Hubby rode it. Me and 15 YO DD chickened out!

My son rode it last Friday afternoon. There was no line and he and his cousins loved it. I did not ride.

We were very disappointed as we were there 7/13 - 7/16 & they were open only for employees. However, we didn't try to push the issue either. There was a security guard at the side entrance (the front was blocked off with potted plants). I heard from a CM one day that they asked for your company ID to get on the ride. Sad, too, because we probably won't be back to WDW for quite a few years. (silly me - I had gotten my hopes up because I had heard that they'd been open to the public the week before we were there!)

We were there on the 17th. If you talk to a CM OUTSIDE of Mission Space, they will tell you that the ride doesn't open until August 15th. We talked to a CM INSIDE Mission Space, and he said they are now trying to open everyday around 1:00. He said they aren't supposed to be publicizing that they are open. He also said they are opening at 8:00 on Wednesdays for Extra Magic Hour.

They had cast previews between the 14th and 16th, which is why they didn't open the ride to the public those days. The same will happen between August 1st and 3rd, when Passholder previews will be held. Other than that it'll probably stay open until the official opening next month, but as with any soft opening, the ride may not open on some days for whatever reason, and it's very possible that there will be additional "closed" previews for cast, WDI, construction crew, execs, sponsors, etc.

We were there 7/19 in the am and the cm in the Mission store said if it opens, it's after 1pm. We went back 7/22 in the pm and rode it.
