I'll be the DD (a "mature" age, let's say) at WDW with my DP (older folks) at the end of Sept. To my astonishment, my dad says he'll ride MS with me! Would it be better for my mom to enter via the exit, as with TT, to wait for us, or is it easy to stand in line and then go to the waiting area, as with ToT? Is there seating in the waiting area, or would she have to stand up the whole time? I don't want her getting too tired, but also not sitting outside in the sun while we have fun.

Yes go through the gift shop right into a waiting area which is also the exit to the ride . There were a few people sitting. There were games to play in there which were fun. One game includes about 40 people and it is a matching game . This was alot of fun.

The waiting area inside the exit (pass through the store and keep going) is pleasant and well air-conditioned. If your mother would like to accompany you in line, though, I'm sure she could, and just exit before entering the actual ride area--there are plenty of exits along the way (a good thing, since many people decide at the last minute that they don't want to ride!). Have fun!
