I had some friends who had been on the ride a few months before us and their advice was to "follow the directions you're given." In other words, look straight ahead, etc. I did this and was fine on the ride. DH didn't go the first trip, but did on the second and he didn't fare quite as well as I did. Sorry I can't answer the dramamine question.![]()
I did everything that the previous poster said and it didn't help. I even took the dramamine and that didn't help either. I got very sick had to go to first aid and rest for an hour. After that I went back to the resort to rest. DH and DD were fine. I will never do it again

There's nothing worse than motion sickness!
He took my kids and my Mom on, well let's just say my Dad is a practical joker, when they got on he was fooling around pretending to get sick in the barf bags, the kids thought it was funny! Little did he know he know the joke would be on him~literaly~. The workers were so nice, took him into a wash room and even gave him a clean t-shirt! I don't think he will be going on this June when we go back!
but IMHO the constant talk about how MS will make you queasy is ruining the ride for people who are thinking of trying it for the first time. If you are on the fence about trying MS, and haven't had trouble with other spinning rides then definitely give it a try! I'm not a big fan of the Teacups but I enjoyed MS
I even tried to do everything they say not to do ( I leaned forward, I looked to the left and right, and I closed my eyes) none of these things made me nauseaus or dizzy. So in closing I would say unless your sure spinning rides effect you negatively give MS a try.
Thanks so much, Yes this is a spinning ride. You don't know it can't see the spinning. But it's thereDisney Cakers said:I'm sorry to hear it made you sick. I was that sick after that Spiderman ride. It really is stinky when you get sick like that - and everyone else wants to have fun. There's nothing worse than motion sickness!
