I'd like to try this ride but I've had an inner ear problem that causes vertigo. It's hard to say what brings it on, but I usually don't just get it from motion type things. Mission space looks good but I know I can't try the spinning version. Disney seems to have the same warning for the spinning and still version. Would this still version be a problem for someone who has had vertigo or inner ear problems? Also, how about Soarin? popcorn::

Can't answer for your particular situation. I tried spinning side first time and did not do well - I got very nauseous. I would not have ever rode it again if not for the new non-spinning side which I did fine on last trip.

I have problems with any rides that spin. I can't go on things like Dumbo, the Teacups, etc. I had no problem with the 'tame' version of Mission Space. It does not spin at all, but does bounce you around quite a bit. You do move from side to side and backwards and forwards. Some of the movements are quick changes of direction.

Soaring is a very gentle ride. You are 'riding' on a hang glider, so the changes in direction are mostly small and gentle. Nothing is jerky or quick.

In both MS and Soarin', your body is moving in the same direction as the movie is making your brain think you are moving. One of the things I know generally causes motion sickness is your brain thinking that your body moving in a different way than you actually are.
