On the other hand, making Mission Space a Tier 1 that nobody will select should make it wide open for that 4th FP, after you use your Figment and Nemo FPs...i can only imagine what test track is going to be like.
My 2 cents. I would imagine the flaw is there won't be enough test track fast passes to cover the increased tier 1 demand. For those frustrated guests who don't get test track, a good many will probably feel obligated to select mission space and their attendance will spike. The standby line at most attractions will go up since they no longer have Soarin eating an hour to an hour and a half of time from some guests who were in the standby line. In general, Disney had to go this route because Epcot without Soarin over the Summer may have some serious capacity problems and may emulate DHS.
It will be interesting to see. I arrive the week Soarin goes down. You have to remember that Frozen Fever will be coming on-line in May - which will most certainly draw the Tier 1 FP down from Test Track. Until then - especially Easter Break - this park will be pretty unbearable.
I kind of went a step further and just postponed the whole trip until later in the year. It was not just because of Soarin and Frozen, but it was a piece of the puzzle. It just seems like overall April at Disney versus Fall at Disney maybe vastly different experience in 2016.
Yep. Big Thunder Mountain also was an unfortunate piece of news considering my daughter is 41 inches. Pulling this attraction out will not help MK crowds.
Yes only 4 months that will likely include the Disneyland upgrades.Wait - what about Big Thunder Mountain? I didn't know they had scheduled a closure for this?
I think that Epcot will continue to be unbearable after Frozen opens. I'm imagining huge crowds in a tiny World Showcase pavilion getting frustrated with crazy wait times but sticking them out. Then after their short ride and M&G finding little else to do in the rest of the park. You have to remember that Frozen Fever will be coming on-line in May - which will most certainly draw the Tier 1 FP down from Test Track. Well is will open during Flower and garden time which brings people in. Epcot may just think about running festivals year round to get people there.I think that Epcot will continue to be unbearable after Frozen opens. Do those festivals appeal to the Frozen crowds though? I see that as mostly families with young kids.Well is will open during Flower and garden time which brings people in. Epcot may just think about running festivals year round to get people there.
