I read on wdwmagic.com that Mission: Space is going to have the AP Holders' Preview days on August 1-3. Having been informed that Sundays are the least crowded days at Epcot, I was planning on going to Epcot on August 3. How big an event is the AP preview going to be? Should I change my Epcot day to another day? I am reluctant because I have a PSB PS on that day at 10:20 am. I would appreciate your expert opinion. Thanks in advance. -Yoko

I rode Mission: SPACE today, and it was simply amazing! You can expect that area of the park to be very busy during those days (an AP event at the Animal Kingdom last year completely overfilled that park, and the new attraction there was DinoRama, which doesn't even begin to compare with this masterpiece). The rest of Epcot shouldn't be too terribly affected for the most part, although I would recommend getting Test Track FastPasses early, since this is right next door to it.

BTW, if anyone is interested, I have posted my first impressions of Mission: SPACE here

Thanks for the warning. Sounds like I should be avoiding Epcot on Aug 3, since I do not have an AP anyway. My first and only visit to WDW 6 years ago got really spoiled by some kind of FL residents' promotional stuff---even tough it was in September after Labor Day, MK was innundated by Floridians. We stood in line for 1.5 hrs to buy lunch, did only a few rides plus Tom Sawyer Island, and everyone was hot and miserable. It took me SIX YEARS since then to convince my DH to give it another try.... So I really want to make sure to avoid excessive crowds. I guess my DD has to do without the breakfast with Belle, for the greater good.

Check the character Breakfast at the Grand Floridain instead, they don't always have set characters, but I believe Belle is on the list of possibles.

I'm so excited there's going to be an AP preview while I'm there!!! Thanks for posting the info!

LostBoyinVA, Thanks. I thought Grand Floridian breakfast just had Mary Poppins and Alice. It would be great news if they do have Belle, though. And wdwguide, I read your M:S review. I think the guys in my family would probably love it. Definitely not me, though. I like actual coasters, but simulators usually make me want to p*ke.
