I prepared this content weeks ago and was waiting for an opportunity to embellish the details. I have finally concluded that I don't have any real desire to spend more time on it and this will be as detailed as it gets......
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Attraction Summary:

Mummy – I rode 3 times, and each time I saw something different. Not because they have three different “shows” by design, but because the technology that was working was different each time. Thought the “story” was rather lame – a little animatronic, a little slide show. Probably scary to young children. But the technological RIDE was a blast. A really fast roller coaster that changes direction, stops on a dime and then, when you think it is over, starts again. Would definitely do over and over (most like Rock-n-Roller Coaster, without blast-off or loops). My favorite at US.

Spiderman - Truly creative, clever and fun - great integration of the technical ride with the surroundings. Spiderman had everything, truly one-of-a-kind. I hope this sets the standard for future development. My favorite at IOA.

Hulk – loved the take off. The rest reminded me of a very long MindEraser.

Fire/Ice – opted to wait for front row Fire – which was cool, but would have been happier to ride 2-3 times in other rows instead of waiting 20 minutes for Row #1. Although the queue was generally out of the sun , the last section is not air conditioned. This probably affected my disposition. Great fun, though.

Dr. Doom – Liked the quick elevation. Liked the drops (both of them…). Being outside was a fun change-up from ToT. BUT, the ride is way too short, if I had to wait in a standby line.

MIB – Let me state my bias right up front - video games do nothing for me. Buzz, neither. MIB was OK and DS16 played it over and over to keep amused, but he claims that was more because there wasn’t anything else he wanted to do more and there was no wait (FOTL). Now if they could just come up with an attraction based on Free Cell…. (you know I’m joking, right?)

Terminator 3-D – Guns, Boom, TV. When DS16 was DS2, he would summarize his day (when I got home from work), of watching TV with Dad, in word-triplets. “Guns, Boom, TV” has entered the family lexicon-groupings to quickly summarize a story-line as “a show with little plot and considerable explosives.” Terminator was “well done,” a “clever use of 3-D technology,” what with shape-shifters liquefying and regrouping over the audience. “Guns, Boom, TV” on a grand scale. If you like action flicks (“Guns, Boom, Movie”), you will be very impressed. I am glad I did it. I will do it again. I would say that if you like the movie genre (action) or are are particularly enamored of 3D movies, this is "not to be missed." But "worth the price of admission"? Not really.

Schrek 4-D – Cute, amusing. Enjoyed more than Terminator. Better acting.

Wet Rides – Jurassic Park, Dudley Do-right, Pop-eye’s Bilge Barge
We did these rides as a schedule-cluster (one after another), on a very hot, overcast afternoon, with plans to return to the room when we were finished, based on some good recommendations from the trip boards. Any of one these rides will soak you, which I don’t exactly get the “fun” of it all. I don’t mind being wet (too much) and I am very grateful for the advice on these boards so that I had the wherewithal to organize myself this way. The rides were OK (except for the triceratops before the big drop of Jurassic, there wasn’t much memorable in the way of theming). Pop-eye was actually the most fun of the three (Kali-River-like-only-longer), with moderate spinning and drops – and no real in-your-face-hosing – just significant splashing – a “natural” byproduct of the ride, not a water cannon manufactured to douse you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess it is safe to say that I like speed and drops most. Inversion, loops, dangling feet are fun, but secondary. Good story line is "gravy" - nice if you can get it, but not essential.
