Oh my gosh, we will be at donalds breakfast that day as well at 10.05am I think...we just might bump into each other with a little disney magic!

We are at 8.15am so we may have gone by the time you get there. We wanted to get in before park opening so at rope drop we will be right near Killamanjaro Safari.

Perhaps you should organise an Aussie DisMeet at AK on the 23rd. That way, you'll be sure to bump into each other and we can see a picture on the Dis!

Kyl, hope you have a night of no sleep. and happy packing and last minute excitement to you all.

We have had a super busy day. After waking for the second time at about 7.00 am - 8.00 we were all ready for the day, again. lol! we headed to Denny's for breakfast and then caught the 43 bus to Orangethorpe Ave where we shopped at the Disney Warehouse, dollar tree, Toys r us, looked in Chuck E Cheese,then to In & Out Burger for lunch (Yum) and then Target. We then caught a cab to Walmart. After many hours & 2 shopping trolleys later we caught another cab (scary ride) back to HoJo's.
We got back at about 6.00pm ish and headed to the spa and pool for drinks and mickey & cheese & crackers and much Aussie company. We were everywhere lol! I think there are only aussies staying here although we did speak with two lovely u.s families.

Ended up ordering pizza to the pool which was delicious and we sat there and watched the fireworks in the spa. A great but exhausting day. Too scared to go to bed and wake up in the middle of the night but oh well, you guys may just get another update in the night.

I too pour over the boards every day in anticipation of our upcoming trip! I am usually a quiet one, but wanted to post and join all the fun!!!

I am looking forward to meeting one of our fellow Disers for breakfast in the Happiest Place On Earth so it would be great if you guys get to meet up!!!

Aside from the weather, can you also confirm or deny rumours of love bugs in Orlando?

There were love bugs when we were there exactly this time last year and people were saying "oh they're BAD" but to be honest we hardly noticed them. They're so small. But then again Australians and Americans seem to have very different ideas about what consitutes scary and/or prolific when it comes to insects. For example, I heard a couple of ladies going on and on about a "huge" scary cockroach - I just had to look and couldn't have been more than 2cm. Big enough, but certainly not huge by our standards.

Lovebugs don't bite or sting, or even land on you like flies do. They just buzz around. They're more annoying if you drive through a swarm of them.

Thanks Oz-kateer. I'm actually hoping that there may still be some love bugs around at the end of October...I love checking out animals of all kinds (I'm a Chem/Zoology major from way back); particularly ones I've never seen before.

Yep - we ship out in about 9 hours. I haven't even packed my own bag.... kids are all ready to roll though and (miracles!) asleep.

I won't be sleeping tonight however as I have to get up at 4.30am and am terrified of sleeping in!
