Our last trip was 10/28-11/06 in 2009. We have our next trip home 12/01-12/10, 2010. Gosh that is such a wait!! It trully is killing me. I just turned off my Ipod Disney music so I could stop obsessing. i am trying hard, very hard to get DH down there for a 4 day trip the end of February...don't think it is goin gto happen...he wants to go but doesn't think it is in the budget yet.

I told him I wouln't have to go to a park...I could sit and watch the animals at AKV and then sit by the pool....bring a cooler of food....for FREEEEE...he aint buying it..

I got back from our Dec trip and was really bummed that I was not actively planning another trip. We are taking all of our kids and grandkids next year in March and planning to get a GV at AKV, so it will use up all of our points for the year. My DIL called me last week and asked me to help her plan a last minute trip for my grandkids since the 7 year old broke his arm and they had to cancel their Mardi Gras break ski trip to Colorado. I called and got 5 days at Carribean Resort. I am going too!! They said they really need the Disney "expert" with them. It's not AKL, but I am just happy to be going back!!

I feel ya. I was reading a trip report that had a bunch of pictures and it just made me miss the World even more. Fortunately, our next trip will be in June, but that sti seems ages away.

I'm going through withdraw, is anyone else feeling the same type of pain.

We spent 2 full weeks last Oct-Nov, what.. about 3 months ago. I tried to get in the suitcase of some people that bought a short time ago. Finally spent our last 2009/2010 (Sept use year) points for 3 nights at Disneyland first week in May. We were lamenting the fact we wouldn't be back to WDW until fall of 2011 when friends we sponsored called us and invited us to join them this fall for 12 days!!! Can you say Ya Hoo!! We can! But we realized we would need more points so we are in the market.

Can't decide whether WLV, love the theming, or Okw, can you say Grande Villa?

Bobbi, I have it all worked out in my head, depending on which weekend the group picks, I'll have enough points to stay at our home resort BCV than I might try to move to VWL at the 7 month period, if I can't that's ok we'll just stay at BCV for the weekend. I suggested to Nancy the second weekend of December with the first weekend as my second choice. Sounds like we will start planning the trip this summer.

I really missed WDW when MLK weekend came and I wasn't on that plane heading to the world. My sister and I have gone the last several years over MLK weekend, I even called her on that Saturday and she was feeling the same way, I really missed our week in January. I've got it all worked out using my DVC pts for 2011. My DH and I will be heading to WDW January, 2011 (I'll be making my reservations real soon for our first stay at BLT) and than once again in December, 2011 for the exchangers meet. This is a big step for my DH, he usually doesn't want to make this trip twice in one year. I talked him into it.

So, your DH is thinking that he'll be coming during the exchangers meet. Mine thought he would pass on that. He and others in the family THINK that they may try to do the 1/2 marathon in January of 2012. We stayed at BLT during marathon weekend this year and we really enjoyed the BLT location. You'll love your newest home, that's for sure.
