Missing two nights of our 13...paying cash through DVC?

I searched but cannot find a thread on this. I know we can book the cash rate through DVC (if rooms are available) but I am curious what discounts some of you may have gotten in the past?

Currently there are no AP offers for the dates we need in December (we need the 7th and 14th) so hoping to at least sure up these two nights in the middle of our stay in case they don't open up.

I am in the same boat as I need Dec 11th..lol. I am booking a cheap room through main booking and then I will see what discount I can get when they release them( either dvc, annual pass or room only). Do you know when they will release AP discounts for December? Good luck to you!

I am not sure if there will be discounts for that time of year since there is already free dining?? I am sure hoping so if our dates don't open up though! Good luck to you! When I looked at the room we currently have (AKV, studio standard view) it is going for $400 a night!! I am stalking the website 3-4 times a day hoping I can grab them myself as I don't believe the waitlist will pick them up for me. Where you are needing the 11th for?

Anywhere. DH and I are spending one night at GF, one night at BLT and the first night?? It is an impromptu anniversary trip and we are packing a backpack and heading out We are looking forward to seeing all of the holiday decor.

If you book through MS, you probably will pay rack rate. The member discount of 25% isn't always offered.
