Missing Resort

Ok, please forgive me for asking a question that is probably already common knowledge, as I haven't read this board in over a year, since our last WDW trip. What ever happened to that new resort they were building? The one with the decade themes? It's not listed on the website, and I don't see anyone talking about it on the boards. TIA.

Are you talking about Disney's Pop Century Resort? The Disney's Pop century resort will be designed with American popular culture spanning the 20th century. The first phase of the resort will be a 2,880 room resort and will be opening Dec 14, 2003.

It's call Pop Century and is scheduled to open in December. I think they are taking res. now.

Yes! Thank you! I could have sworn people were booking for last summer, and I remember it in the 100 years of Magic video. I thought it was almost done (the 1st half) when we went March 2002. Oh well. Thanks anyway.

They delayed the opening because of 9/11 , the war and tourism being low.
