Missing points from membership after cancellation 4 months out

I was wondering if anyone have experienced points missing from their membership after canceling a booked ressie online? I'm still way past the holding period since I cancelled 4 months out. I'm so upset since I wanted to book something else that came up but now I can't do that since my points are missing and these are almost 200 points that are just poof gone. Not very happy about this at all.
 
I had 400 points disappear one time, but MS knew about it immediately. They could not get the points back, Disney IT had to finally fix the problem.

I would call MS ASAP. They will probably need to research the problem to figure out what happened to your points.
 
We have had point issues, took a week to fix it. I have learned to keep off-line copies of everything because MS initially said that I was mistaken, and that points don't just disappear. After getting a managers manager involved it was determined that it was an IT error that "they had not experienced before".

Go to your Dashboard online and then manage vacation points. Then go into activity statement. See if the reservation was cancelled, it may not have gone through.
 
Were the points transferred to you from another member or account? If so, those won't show up in your account. MS can see them, though.
 
Thanks everyone! I called member services and they said my other reservation was not cancelled and still shows in their system. I said that was odd since it doesn't show anywhere in my dashboard online. They cancelled my ressie and now I got my points back but the online system is glitchy.
 
That's one thing I've learned in 16 years of being a member, keep on top of your account balances. Before it was online, I would always verify my point balances after every transaction. One time they borrowed points when I had plenty of current year points available. I knew it wasn't right and called back. They had to manually fix it.

Yes, I did have that issue before. I did have to call member services for resolution. I'm sad this is still an issue.
