Missing pictures/avatars etc

Well, pictures that I couldn't see when they were first posted earlier this week, and then I could, were again not available to me this morning. That said, I can now see them.

My avatar (the little one showing I've posted on a thread, as well as the one next to my post and the reply box, and the one showing when I hover over my username) are all correct. However, when I click on my avatar the window that opens shows my old avatar.

When I go to Bishoparc's thread, I cannot see the pictures there. Just little window with "image.jpg" icon.

Just an update from my perspective. Don't know if the "powers that be" are still working on this.

Avatars continue to flip from new ones to old ones for me on at least 2 other people. I still see my old avatar in the window that comes up when I click on my own avatar.

Am I correct in the assumption that any photos posted during the time period that there were issues remain gone? It seems that way.

Are your renewing the security certificate? I hate getting that dang pop up not to trust this site 5000 times a day.

Yay, I can now only see my current avatar in all locations it's supposed to be. Also, the other avatars that have been flip-flopping seem to have settled on the newest ones.

I realize this is an old problem but not sure where else to turn. I attempted to send an email to a administer but no one contacted me back. My pictures from my trip report are gone and have not returned. They were loaded through photobucket back in June of 2014. I notice this has not happened to others. Is there any way to get my pictures back on my trip report? they never were removed from my photobucket account and so I have to assume that it had something to do with the problems that everyone was mentioning

It seems that any photos that went missing during that problem, are gone. You would have to go back and repost them.

Yes.

It seemed to me that any photos posted during the "troubled times" disappeared permamently. Those that were posted before, and disappeared during the time of the photo issues, some came back once the problems were resolved. Most did not.

OUCH!! Not what I wanted to hear lol!!! I must have posted over 125 pictures on my trip report!!! Spent days and many many hours on that!!! Guess I will just have to work on our next trip report lol!!!
