Ok, the weirdest and freakiest thing i os going on here right now. My friend picked me up from somewhere a little after 3 yesterday, took me home and stayed with me til 5 orr so. She knew she was goimg to be staying with me for a little while so she had her middle son go pick up her youngest son and take him back to his dads house which is just 3 real short blocks from me. She and I start talkimg about our plans a trip to the casino for today, lunch on saturday, party at my house labor day weekend etc. I have known her 10 years and she is always the one I count on for back up rides for my kids to and from school etc. She was a long time school district employee til last year. Anyway she has gone through a real bitter divorce that seemed to be getting less contentious, her mom has breast cancer she has obviously had some depression over all this but seemed FINE yesterday. She left my house at 5 to go get her son 3 blocks away and go home about 2 miles away. She never showed up to get her son. Her oldest son went back over to her apt about 7 waited awhile and called me. I was immediately concened. No word from her. Her oldest son comes over at 10 wanting a few more details. Hospital has been called but I am not sure how that works with the hippa laws. The road to her house therte is only one way to get there. She cant drive after dark or long distances. She doesn't have a drinking problem. I just got off the phone with her son again and it is qboiut 2 30 here still no word. No answer on her cell. A missing persons report was filed hours ago. I will just wait til morning. I am pretty scared and upset. Her family and friemds could really use some good thoughts right now.
Ok update I spoke to her again, I asked if she went to the casino and she said no she drove out to disneyland
stopping several times on the way. I don't think she went it?? Heck maybe she did. I will be sure and find out. I know she stopped at the park that is halfway between my huuse and hers.
She just had something bring up some bad memories and went tilt I guess. She has been having a huge hard time falling asleep. (I have sleep problems so I relate) The divorce, alimony going down 800 a month starting next month etc.
I am totally terrified her ex will use this to go back to court and get full custody. That would destroy her. He is 15 and was with his brother so he was never in any danger but the dad might see this as a way to pay less support. The dad is a liar, cheater, abuser, verbablly abusicve, punches holes in walls and is deliberaltly manipulative and cruel. The line to testify against him would be long I am sure.
Anyways I just thought it was ironic I posted this on the Dis and thats where she was.

for you. That is SCARY! Are the police looking into it? I imagine they will be talking to the ex, since there was known tension. Does her cellular carrier have the ability to track her phone? Has someone checked all along the road between where your house is and where she was going--maybe she had a wreck and is off the road, where you cannot see the car.
