Missing DVC membership Card- Trip in 2 1/2 weeks

Just got off the phone with Member Services (after a delightful 9 minute hold) calling to request a copy of my member card which I can't seem to locate. I was told she could request one for me (but not for my husband- he'd have to call back himself- yeah! fun for him) and that it takes 6-8 WEEKS to process. Told there was no other option.

We are headed down in just over 2 weeks and I have PAP DVC vouchers to trade in for tickets. I assume they need the DVC card for this or can they just look me up somehow? if the only way is with the DVC card, now what do I do?

So frustrating!
 
Yes, you need a member id card when getting your PAPs.

You can get replacement member id cards at several locations at WDW:
Preview Center @ SSR
Community Hall @ BWV
Bay Lake Tower
Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village

1) I forgot to take my DVC card when converting the PAP DVC voucher in early June. It took awhile, but the CM was finally able to connect with DVC Member Services and obtain the information needed to complete the exchange. Not ideal, but should be able to be done; and

2) A couple of years ago I called MS because I lost my DVC card. I was also told 6-8 weeks to process. Luckily, I found it a few days later in a drawer at the house . . . because I'm still waiting on the new one from DVC. :laughing:
 
Well now, telling me that I could get a replacement card at the resort we are staying at in 2 1/2 weeks would have been REALLY helpful. Ugh!

The Preview Center @ SSR is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. The other locations probably have similar hours.
 
Most convenient would be the one at Kidani. I'll try there first when we arrive. Thank you.
 
I know the question has already been answered, but, my husband has "lost" his membership card. When we were in Florida, they were able to give him a temporary card on the spot. It wasn't such a big deal, because I had mine. When we got back home, I found his original card. We also finally got the replacement card. Now I have all three of his cards, along with mine, in one place, along with our annual passes, our passports, etc. You get the picture. (It's in our home safe). I collect all the cards whenever we get back from vacation.

They no longer do temporary cards, the replacements are the same as the one they would mail.
