missing disney

Boy its been 7 months since our trip. Seems like a lifetime ago.
I wish I saw an upcoming trip in the future but doesn't seem like hubby is interested. He would rather go to aruba this year. Guess I have to plan a all girl trip soon.

I know what you mean. I haven't been in two years becuase of the economy and business. We even have a DVC membership and have had to rent it out. Sigh. Sometimes it feels like we'll never get to go again. I just cross my fingers and remember that Mickey will always be waiting...

Boy I can relate we had to cancel our May trip because my mom was in the hospital in intensive care for a month. She is doing great now but it was touch and go for the whole month. Our next trip will be a short trip in August 2010 for eBay live. Then a 2 week vacation in September 2010.
This will be the longest dry spell in 23 years we never went more then a year without Disney before

Right there with you guys. We lost our 28 year old son-in-law in March after an 18 month illness and will be helping our 26 year old daughter pay off the medical bills ... for a long time. Oldest daughter and her husband just bought into the DVC and plans to save points for larger accommodations in the future so there is a little hope for us. She wants to take her sister back to the "happiest place on earth" just to lift her spirits but we'll have to do that in the future. Looking at a long "Disney dry spell" and not really looking forward to a summer/fall without a "Mickey fix". Have to enjoy hearing about the excitement and fun of others for now but we'll get back. As previously posted ... Mickey will always be there!
