Missing DIS'ers

Anyone seen Wheelsie of late? She is a moderator on the disABILITIES board and used to stop by frequently here on the CB. Have not seen her for weeks.

The last I heard Wheelsie couldn't really DIS from work anymore and so she was having trouble checking in as often as she used to. That was a few weeks ago though, but she's in Disney, huh? Lucky gal!

I've also wondered about teri from California. Unless I'm just missing posts I haven't seen her here for a while either!

I had sent her a PM several weeks back. Did a search to see the last time she posted. It was on 10/10 and I sent my PM on 10/17. Figured she would check back in soon and see my PM. Then I finally noticed that her last post on 10/10 was 2001, not 2002!

Oh, well that is good about Wheelsie, a nice long trip to the World is always great.

Chris, I think teri sort of just 'threw the towel in' here with a lot of the things she saw happening. She started a small board of her own and when I last talked to her, not all that long ago, she was very busy with her 2 children, Mary Alice and Marc, and RL.

Bob, I also had missed TJ and asked some weeks back if anyone had heard from her. Michelle said Tiffany was busy with her job and had limited computer time. I know some of the CM DIS'ers drop by that board and hopefully some of those great thoughts there are getting passed on to the various CM's. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=270967

I just spoke with Wheels and she is fine. Very busy and happy with her job and doing so well (I'm very proud of her).

She just returned from a vacation to Branson--not WDW she says She had a great time.

Quick update on me.

Yes, I'm in Florida. Lakeland to be exact. Thirty minutes from my driveway to being parked at Disney!! What could be better?

Well the answer to that would be a different job. I won't go into the details but I've been at this job for just over 6 months and out of that I've been out of town in Montreal for over 3 of them. I was back for two weeks and now I'm leaving again on Wednesday. Before all the travel I was working 70+ hours a week and of course only getting paid for 40! And to top it all off, I'm not too confident that the company is going to make it.

Ok, sorry, I said I wouldn't go into the details.

With the move from Phoenix, the new job, the hours and the travel, it has been very hard to find time to sit in front of the computer. I'll be trying to check in more often. Thanks for the well wishes.

When I am in town, it sure would be easy for me to meet with any of you that are at WDW. Meet at a park or for dinner somewhere. So, let me know if you are going to be in town and if you'd like to get together. I've had the pleasure of meeting so many nice people and always enjoy the chance to see you again and to meet new DISers. You can either email or PM me.

I'll never fotget how many times and places you and I bumped into each other at the World last year, Bob, LOL, it was funny.

I will be at the World 11/30-12/11, along with many other DIS folks, during DIS-Con, 12/4-12/8. Hope to see you some time there.

Hope the job situation improves, sure do recall all your frustrations last year landing this one.

HEAR YE!! HEAR YE!!!

(No I have not taken over TownCrier's body LOL)

I'm alive and well. No I didn't go to Disney. Since I only had a week off this year traveling that far b car was not an option. So I stayed close to home only traveling 5 hours away to Branson Mo.

I've also been EXTREMELY busy at work. We are going thru some MAJOR changes in my dept, besides I'm considering transferring to another dept. I had my interview thursday, so dont ask. its too soon to tell.

I'l be doing a Branson trip report on disABILITIES in the next couple of hours (Gawd!! I'm admitting I'm slow...the first step in my 12-steps to a a trip report program LOL)

You know though, if anyone REALLY wants to know where I am I'm only a PM away. I usally answer those when I don't have time to do much else. tee hee

So there ya have it folk. I'm not dead just exhausted!!!
