Yes, the stations were contacted and apparently they did run something, at least Channel 9 did, although I did not see it.

As of last evening he was still missing.

I don't understand why we are not hearing more of this on the local news. It is very disappointing.

What about local radio stations? Can they put something on air or on their webpages? I'd think that 88.3 would be willing to help.

Thank you for the updates. I don't understand why there is only a little publicity. A missing person is a tragedy and we always hear on the national news if the person is a highshool or college student I don't understand why this is different, and why his disappearance is not generating publicity locally at least.

In the case of college students and younger adults, it's a bit of ageism. We had an older lady that was missing for a year and while local media was all over, it was never picked up outside of Memphis.

Under 18, I'm sure it's due to the amber alert system, which makes sense as children have no way to defend themselves and there's much more at stake.
