Missing Air France Flight

Planes dispappear quite frequently (well, in terms of plane crashes)

It says they flew into a thunderstorm, and maybe a large lightning strike caused it to crash. If they flew into the storm clouds, I think that maybe the pilot had spatial disorientation and instead of flying straight, he started to dive without knowing. I think the last time that happened was in 2004 over the Red Sea.

Prayers to the families of those on board.

This is sooo bizarre! It's like my nightmares come true. This is why I hate flying to Spain; we fly over the Atlantic.
It seems eerily similar to the Bermuda Triangle, except the Bermuda Triangle doesn't stretch that far.

It is just so odd. I really really hope it ends up like a real life case of LOST, but it's doubtful.

My prayers are with the families of thos on board, and those still on board if alive. I can not imagine the heartache they are enduring right now.

I'm such a dork, the first thing I thought of was LOST. Well, that's what I hope. I hoped they landed on a creepy island full of monsters and alive dead people, instead of crashed terribly in the ocean somewhere, :(

That is SO creepy.
Prayers go out to the family and friends of those who were on board.
I hope they are able to locate the plane.

This is the creepiest story of my life.. my dad is a captain for qantas and id never really thought about it before but what if his flight suddenly disappeared *shivers* ick. Maybe I just wont think about it ><

UPDATE:

Several airplane seats have been found floating in the ocean. They think that they might be from the missing plane.

So....yeah:sad1:

They've confirmed it went down in the ocean. There is a 3 mile wreckage path.

:sad2:

It's so sad! But like others said, my first thoughts were of Lost..haha

But that must be really upsetting for the families of the passengers and crew. I can't even imagine.

One of my biggest fears. I hate to say it but I don't see anyone surviving this. How tragic for the families. :( That would be one of the worst ways to die.

I guess you just have to think that flying in a plane is the safest way to travel. It's hard for me to get my mind around that though because I am TERRIFIED of being in a plane crash.
