..... and I cannot believe that E4 are not repeating it on Sunday as they have in the past for the past series :(

So would anyone be able to PM me or let me know what happened, Kaylee maybe, pretty please?

Thanks ever so

Sam I have recorded it on Sky Plus to watch at the weekend. I can PM you then - or you are more than welcome to join me on the sofa for a West Wing Meet ;)

Josh slept in his office and has got a new intern who is well connected. Josh was very worried that John Goodman was introducing legislature while in temporary charge. Goodman invaded Qumar and lost some Marines in the process.

Sams replacement wrote the 2 speeches both of which President Bartlett read.

They found Zoe alive but with a broken clavicle(?) and partial deafness, she didn't look well. There was much sobbing and an awful lot of police lights.

Bartlett made a speech and signed back on as president

I much prefer the first two series....

Awww Kaylee you know I want to don't you, stop teasing me.

Cassius - thanks for the short and sweet version. I really wanted to see John Goodman getting his just desserts.

He actually came across very well. Admitted that he never aspired to the job of Prseident, His aide told Josh that they were not pushing through any Republican agenda as they would be crucified by the press.

The two speeches being written were for Zoe being found alive and Zoe being found (or confirmed) dead. the closing sequence was Barlett (off camera) using the second - but modified.

There are obviously some fireworks to come in the Barlett household. Abby is well p*****d that the Qumari minister was killed on Bartlett's orders and blames him for the attack on Zoe.

Sam, I actually have the last two episodes on video tape for DH though if its anything like the last series of 24 he’ll never get around to watching them. If you would like to borrow the tape let me know and I can post it off to you tomorrow and hopefully that would give you time to see it before the next episode.

That was so kind of you to offer - I only just saw this on my catch up with the DIS.

I think I'm back on track after reading here and episode details on the net and I'll probably see it on DVD when they're released - I'm going to remember to watch it tonight though.

Thanks again though it was a really nice offer :love2:

Are you guys just getting those episodes now?

Yes, and what's worse is that the people who do not pay for satellite/cable TV have not yet seen Series 4 (the previous series)! Channel 4, who broadcast the West Wing on terrestrial TV in the UK, have made a really poor job of scheduling WW and now seem to have abandoned it altogether. Gits!

Thank god for BitTorrent is all I can say, and roll on October for Series 6. The cliff-hanger for Series 5 will have you on tenterhooks...

Sam you're welcome. I will probably have to continue to tape it for DH so if you miss any again just let me know.

Yes and I for one wished I knew what the heck was going on with Channel 4 – they showed the last ever series of Frasier at 11:00 on a Wednesday night,
relegated brilliant programmes such as NYPD and Six Feet Under to the graveyard slot DURING THE WEEK!!! and then had the cheek to fill peak viewing times with total drivel. If whoever is in charge had half a brain they would obviously be a very dangerous person

I agree entirely. Sadly he's now in charge of the BBC...

As from next week, E4 are repeating the Tuesday episode in the early hours of Wednesday morning as well as on Thursday night. Lord knows what the rest of the schedule will contain once Big Brother disappears - perhaps they could find space for a few more Friends re-runs? ;)

I agree with you Rob about BitTorrent - a truly wonderful creation. It's great watching the latest episodes a day or so after they've aired in the US.

BitTorrent is a file sharing system a bit like Kazza, eDonkey, etc. It's normally used for illegal sharing of music, pirated movies, software, etc. A number of popular TV shows are also made available on BitTorrent shortly after they are broadcast. A quick search on Google will take you to lots of sites which deal with BitTorrent software and where to find links to the stuff you might want to download.
