Missed out on awesome trade!

I had two screens open when a guy asked to trade my hat (July 4th). My computer was going really slow and started running constantly so I could see his type but I couldn't type back. He was offering rare stuff I can't get, some I've never seen. Since I didn't respond he closed the screen, I found him and asked if he still wanted to trade so he put different offer up but I couldn't type then after he put things in!!
Since we've only been on since May, well, only have stuff since then and he was including presents and Blizzard Beach couch (where was that from?). Well then my shockwave went completely empty and I had to restart my computer and he was long gone from the pirate docks. <sigh> I was so excited too. I can always buy a new hat, maybe he didn't have enough credits, but I have no means of getting the other stuff.

Lesson learned: between today and slide-a-thon...my computer just can't handle two screens with all those vmk characters. We have extra memory but that probably doesn't have anything to do with the shockwave memory.

Now back to the quest with my mule for a gift.

Oh, that really stinks! That used to happen to me all the time. And the Blizzard Beach Couch was just released today.
