Today was the day to payoff my Sept cruise, and although I have air and everything else, I was waiting to pay off my cruise until I confirmed my vacation was approved. Well I found out this afternoon that it was, but we are on CDT and when I called AllSeas (EST) they are closed!!
Will I still have a cruise when they open on Monday?

Anyone ever have that happen? I know I drug my feet, but we just got back from WDW 2 weeks ago and Im still catching up on my to do list.

Well I guess if we dont have a cruise we can sign up for the free dining since I used reward points for our air and I have vacation :wizard:

Thanks to anyone that can share their experience.

Hate to be the bearer of worse news.............

The deadline for booking the Free Dining Ends on Sunday!

Why not try calling DCL yourself to see if they can help you out!

Hope Everthing works out in your favour!

I would also call DCL and ask them if you can get an extension. From a recent post they do try to work with people. I hope that it all works out!

Yes you will still have a cruise when they open on Monday. They do not automatically cancel your cruise. It will come up that it is past due and they will contact your TA before it is canceled, or at least that is how it used to be handled. I agree with the others, call DCL directly, they are open until 10pm and on the weekends, explain to them that you know it is a TA booking and that they can not make any changes to the reservation without the TA calling but advise them that your TA's office closed today before you could get with them about the final payment and you just want to make sure the res will be ok through Monday.

First off I know from experience that Allseas is open on Saturday. So call tomorrow. You can also email and they'll probably still answer you tonight- they've answered my emails at night and weekends before. Either way- you should be able to find out from them if you lost your cruise and if so, be able to still get in on the free dining before it ends on Sunday.

You could also go with CDS's recommendation to call DCL directly and make sure it's not cancelled by the time you can reach Allseas. I'm assuming that if you called allseas tomorrow and paid over the phone that you might not have lost your cruise just yet.

Many times a TA will tell you that final payment is due a few days before the actual due date so hopefully that is what happened and you should be fine. I would call DCL tonight and inquire about the actual final due date.

Liferbabe: You should be fine for a few days. My final payment was due this past Monday and I told my TA I can't pay until next Friday. She told me DCL may cancel my ressie, but would notify her first, so there would be a little advance warning. Should be the same for you. Good luck! Enjoy your cruise!

Oh, you're too cruel!

Be glad I don't run DCL, because I would let you take your cruise if you missed your payment deadline, but I would charge you the current rate for your category of stateroom or offer to split the difference as a penalty.

We have had excellent experience with this TA. I suggest sending them an email. They have been known to respond after hours.

Well think about it. How many posts do you see here asking about a reduction in price because the fare had been lowered. Just imagine if all those people who wanted a reduction were asked to pay more when the fares went higher!

I am glad it worked out for you. As I mentioned in my earlier post, we have been very pleased with this TA (I'm not sure if I can mention their name on this board).
