Missed LOST-What happened?

I was in the middle of some unwanted Drama on Wednesday and was not able to watch Lost I was hoping that some of the good people from the DIS could give me a break down of what happened.

in a nutshell?
not much

it was Jin/Sun's "back story"...basically how they met. (he was a doorman at a fancy hotel, she was being "set up" by a matchmaker at this hotel...things go wrong on both ends, and they end up "bumping" into each other)

other then that, the tailies take off for the other side of the island, they split up to find food/water before their journey, Michael takes off looking for Walt...Jin and Ecko ("Shaft" from the tail. heheh) take off after him. (they are getting along now) and we get a glimps of the 'others'...from the knee down.
(grrrr)

it really was a boring episode IMO...

the funniest line?
Sun had lost her wedding ring...Hurley thought the dog ate it...he was telling a story about how his dog ate spare change "Sure enough, a day later Buster crapped out a buck thirty five "

I agree...not much. I watched the first season on DVD and am trying to get used to a slower story line (with commercials!)

I'd just add to this...

and we get a glimps of the 'others'...from the knee down.

...to say that one of "the others" was dragging a beat-up teddy bear.

I missed Lost too. DVR didn't record it because the stupid Dish lost its signal gain. Is there someone you don't like? Recommend DIsh Network to them. BTW televisionwithoutpity.com usually has a recap albeit an amusingly subjective one.

The epsiode was full of small character and story elements that are sure to figure into future episodes.

Jin and Sun's backstory involves meeting via fate as told by a friend of Jin's(just like many other links within the group)

Kate admitted to Sun that she has feelings for Sawyer.

Locke expressed his feelings about the island, fate, and how he has overcome his anger issues to Sun.

And how cannot you not love and episode with these two classic scenes:

Jin's "fish" scene. Ana Lucia, you just got served.

I loved the look on Sun's face after Hurley delivered that line. heheheh
