Misprint pin?

My husband just recently started collecting pins <as soon as he found out they make star wars pins> one of the first pins he picked up was the yoda "silent knight jedi knight" christmas pin..he showed it to me and i point out that it looked a little funny and it was hard to read..well he bought another one last night and realized that his first pin is missing the red lettering that spells out the words..all it has is the background yellow..i didn't see this one listed on pin pics and was wondering if anyone else has seen it...while he was in the store somebody offered him $25.00 for it so now he is wondering if he should keep it untill next year or not...thanks guys

Error pins -- Like all pins, their value lies in the eye of the beholder.

I have some. And like to keep and collect them -- to an extent.

Within this last month I traded from a CM, pin #2333

The difference -- all four dangles are the same Donald.
I have the regular dangle pin. Now I have my special one too.
I think the CM was glad to get rid of it.

I also recently bought (without knowing until later) a cross eyed Aurora surprise pin.
