Anyone ever misplace their AP or have it stolen while not on vacation? If so what can be done?

My DH left his in a FastPass machine at MGM 2 years ago. Guest Relations replaced it after verifying his identity by checking his driver's license. They do the biometric finger scan at the park turnstile, so nobody could have used his lost pass in the meantime.

5 year old daughter lost hers...er, umm, 34 year daddy lost 5 year old daughter's, yes that's more like it....Guest Services printed a new one in less than 5 minutes.:)

If you have your receipt I think you can get it replaced. Check with the local Disney store - there is one at the Galleria or the Boulevard (I live in Lancaster, NY) ;)

My dh usually carries his ap and one dd's. I usually carry mine and the other dd's. Once, dh had a conference call for work, so I took the girls to MK to get a spot for Spectromagic hoping he would join us before it started. I got to the MK (bus from BW) and discovered that I had forgotten to get dd's pass from dh.

I knew that if I went back to the BW we would not get to see the parade. I checked at guest services and they were able to issue a new ap for my dd and void the old one. It didn't take long at all. I probably had just purchased them that week, but I doubt I would have had my receipt with me....not sure. I was VERY thankful for the kindness of the CM to do this. I was so sad that I was going to miss Spectromagic...or was it the Main Street Electrical parade?? Can't remember.

As long as it is an activated AP (with your name printed on it), they can replace it at WDW by showing ID. They can't do it at the Disney Store.

If it's just a voucher (purchased at the Disney Store or by mail), then you will need your receipt because your name is not recorded on it. I'm not sure if the Disney Store could help you with that.

I have been looking thru all the drawers and hiding places that I may have put it in as not to misplce it...lol..It is an actual AP valid thru January 24, 2005. I will keep looking but feel better that I can probably just walk up to guest relations in December and have it replaced. Thanks for all the answers and Hello to my fellow Western New Yorker,...it sure is cold here today. LOL

Cindy,

I was hoping your question was a hypothetical question, but now I see it's not. Sorry to hear that. I hope you find it!! I keep mine in my fanny pack - all the time. It never moves. I don't use my fanny pack for ANYTHING else, so I don't have to worry about it. In fact, now that I think about it - I keep a lot of my "disney" traveling stuff all together so I know where it is for the next trip.

Do you have a Passporter? Or a WDW file? It could be there. It could be with your trip photos too, did that once.

Our AP's have gone through the laundry = twice! All you need to do is show guest services your driver's license and they'll print one up quickly as previous posters have reported.

Good Luck! They'll turn up!

Another Buffalonian here! And yes, it was TOO DANG COLD TODAY!!!!!!

I'd call WDW information and ask. They might be able to send you one to the address they have on file. Try this: 407-560-PASS

But if you can wait, then just do it at the park. :)
