I know how you feel. In 5th grade, one of my best friends moved to Nebraska and I haven't seen her or talked to her since. I keep sending her emails but she never responds.

My best friend moved to Georgia a couple of years ago. I really felt like crap the day she left. I know how it feels. There's always IM and phone and stuff, but it's never the same. I'm so sorry! Major hugs!

Aww, I'm sorry. That must be horrible. But at least you'll always have the time you spent together, and you can always think back on those times. I've never physically met my best friend and don't expect to anytime soon, but I know how awful it feels to be out of contact for a while. I'm so sorry about this.
