Miserable trip ahead for family...

I'm making a prediction here...my SIL and BIL are flying to WDW Sept. 6 for 4 days...taking my 6 and 5 yr old niece and nephew on their first ever trip there. The catch is this: my SIL will be 35 wks pg w/ #3. I think they are nuts...she is going to be miserable in the heat...they are from the south Ohio area, where it gets hot, but not Florida hot and humid.

I have tried to help them and tried and tried to explain how it is during free dining (bonus) but they need to make their dining plans...talked to her the other day and the only one they've made is to CRT breakfast. That's it. We tried to get them to go w/ us in Dec...I'd much rather take a 7 wk old then be huge and pg in the heat! Plus, in Dec. it's my family and daughter, my in laws and my 4 yr old nephew...her kids would have had a great time w/ the cousins, and they could take their time w/ the baby!

I predict they will have a miserable time and never go back.

Nah, it doesn't sound that bad. They're going during one of the slowest weeks in the year. It won't be nearly as crowded or as scorching as one would think. ADRs are not extremely necessary around these times. Congrats for her getting CRT though!! (even though they charge way more than the breakfast is worth now). I think she may just have fun!

it would depend on the family, but I'm thinking you know your family quite well. ;) I wouldn't hesitate to go down pregnant, but I'd stick to the shows, the very mellow attractions (can anyone say WEDway?) and float in the pool a lot. Sounds like you're thinking they're going to do the whole "see everything and end up waiting in a ton of very long lines and probably not take breaks" deal though. Man, I feel bad for them. :sad2:

Mmmmmm . . . I don't know . . . Disney's opening more restaurants and offering all sorts of exchanges for credits around that time, so I'm thinking it's going to be packed pretty good.

I don't know, but it is during free dining, and we went Oct. 1 last year during free dinign and it was packed at all the restaraunts! The parks weren't horrible until the weekends.

My sil is thinking she'll float in the pool while bil takes the kids. But, how fun is that on their first trip there, she's the one that wanted to go. Sounds like lots of walking to me too!

Maybe they want a last hurrah before the baby is born??? If so, I'd try not to worry about it. But I do wonder, will they let her on the plane to fly at 35 weeks? She might need to bring a doctor's note okaying the trip.

I wouldn't hesitate to go pregnant.....not 35 weeks pregnant...all the walking around just might put her into labor....unless she is wanting to have a "Disney" baby....I wouldn't risk it....

I would be miserable...that's just me...

Im 40 weeks pregnant and for the last oh 6 weeks while I would love to be at Disneyworld, walking isnt the easiest of things. I walk really REALLY slow and get tired easy. I went when I was 12 weeks pregnant and I got tired easy then. Maybe she's having a really good pregnancy. :confused3 I am other than he doesnt want to leave, but I couldnt do it.

You know what. I forgot about that. yeah, it will be rough. I hope it doesn't stop them from coming back. :)
