1. What do you do with your cameras and camcorders when you ride a ride?
2. What do you carry everything in?
3. Do you carry everything throughout the day?

Thanks

Do you have kids? We carried everything in the stroller. We had our diaper bag (backpack) in the stroller & just pulled it out as we left the stroller in front of rides.

Kids have fanny packs for their autograph books and disposable cameras. Dh and I swap carrying the backpack that has my good camera, film, sunglasses, sun visors attached to the bungee cords and whatever else we can stuff into it!!

1. What do you do with your cameras and camcorders when you ride a ride?
I have a camera on a neck strap. If it's a wet ride, it goes in a ziploc bag. If it's a gentle ride, it stays on my neck. If it's a roller coaster, it goes in my messenger bag. Some rides have baskets/pouches to put belongings, that's where it goes.

2. What do you carry everything in?
Used to carry a fanny pack. Now I carry a small messenger bag because the tripod and ponchos wouldn't fit in the fanny pack.

3. Do you carry everything throughout the day?
Yes. Never used the lockers. Everything I need is in the bag. If I don't need it for the parks, then it stays in the room.

I carry everything in a clear backpack. With school supplies starting to be in the stores, the clear backpacks are easy to find. They're waterproof and you can find your items quickly.

If you're concerned about people seeing your "stuff", just put a small makeup type bag inside the backpack and it hides it (but security will have you open any "hidden" bags).

Also, for my camera (very expensive digital), I carry it in a camera bag inside my backpack. That's double protection on wet rides, but the inner bag never got wet.

By doing the clear backpack, the only ride I "worried" about was the raft ride in AK, but it was fine. Just put your backpack in the center section and NOT at your feet!!!! Also, DON'T forget it when you get off.

I rode TOT and RNR and EVERYTHING with my backpack and had no problems. There's space at your feet for backpacks - you can hook your leg through a strap, tuck the backpack behind your legs, and don't worry. Mission Mars had a "pouch" for belongings.

Don't go "oversized" on the backpack, but a "standard" one is completely fine after you fill it with your stuff.

Oh, carry your backpack with you.

Good luck.

It is also just myself and dw. We take the bag on the ride with us. I think you will find that there are very few rides that you cannot take bags on with you. We bring 5-6 freeze ziplock bags for cameras and wallets.

2. What do you carry everything in?

We found a bag that is a cross between a fanny bag and a backpack. Its not big enough that you can shove everything including the kitchen sink, but rather it forces you to carry essentials and then some.

3. Do you carry everything throughout the day?

Yes

Very small backpack purchased at Walmart. It fit around my leg/foot during a ride if not around my one shoulder. LOVED IT and it was the PERFECT size.

Yes, you're able to carry backpacks on rides. :)

I really worried about this on our first trip but it turns out that LOTS of people take backpacks on rides. I do try to get "situated" quickly when boarding a ride since it takes me an extra moment to secure the backpack. But I have to say that I was always done before the last "non-backpack" person was set. :Pinkbounc

If there are any rides inparticular that concerns you, post it and I'll tell you how we secure our backpack on it.

Ok. That was what was confusing me. Thanks

Any of the faster rides, roller coasters. Does everyone just wrap them around their feet.

Thanks everyone for clearing that up.

I can see if it was a huge backpack like they use on Amazing Race (hehe). There are many backpack wearers walking round...
