My older brother lives in Chicago, and his wife's family are die-hard White Sox fans (so much that they were not only at last night's game 1, but are also going to Game 2 tonight!!!!!!)

Cubs fan here during the regular season, but as they swooned almost all year, I sure as heck am rooting for the Sox in the playoffs, hope they go all the way. Go Sox (Chicago that is )

my former brother ( ) is a cubs fan that has been coming up with tons of excuses on why the cubs are at home..I have stopped listening to him...he cannot be happy at all!

Although banned from watching playoff games on tv by DH (something about the screaming and pacing????) did manage to catch the game yesterday!

Because after dealing with the MUCH MORE OBNOXIOUS White Sox fans after our lackluster 2003 playoff run I really find it hard to cheer for them. There is no room for North Side / South Side love for any true fan in Chicago.

I've always been a White Sox fan but I routed for the Cubs when they made the playoffs a few years ago. I don't understand the hatred. During the regular season I don't really care what the Cubs do but I sure will cheer for a Chicago team if they make the playoffs. That's my city and I am proud to live here and proud to be a part of it.

I'll throw in another Go White Sox. Not really a fan, but I liked Scott Podsednik when he was on the Brewers. Plus I'm sick of hearing about the Red Sox.

I always pull for the underdog if I don't have a team in the fight. The White Socks haven't won a Series since throwing the one almost a century ago, so I'm hoping they can keep it going for the next month.

And as for Cub fans rooting for the Sox...Would anybody expect an Alabama Crimson Tide fan to root for Auburn, just 'cause 'Bama isn't playing in a big bowl game ?
