mint julep

Can anyone tell me what is in a mint julep, is there a lot of sugar, can you ask for a diet mint julep?

Sorry, no diet version. They don't mix it up fresh, it is set up in the soda machines, just no fizz.

Many don't like it saying it tastes like slightly sweet mouthwash. Its my son's favorite drink at the resort and I used to love it too, but lately it seems as if they changed it or something. Maybe it's just everyone's comments, but now it tastes like mouthwash to me too.

Lots of sugar.... YES! Diet.... NO! They are wonderful - really - they aren't THAT sweet - to me lemonsade is sweeter than the juleps there - certainly less sweet than a soda.

I actually usually get half sprite/half julep.
