Trying to a better job keeping track of finances. I cam across an article about mint.com. It looks very practical and is very visual about how your money is spent. Have you used this app before? What apps have you used to help budget your expenses?

I have been using Mint online for years and the app version on my iPhone for about a year.

I think it's great and DH really loves it.
I had always done all the bills/finances and then discussed things with DH every month or so. Mint makes it convenient because we can both access the info so he can get a sense of things without having to access all our separate bank/credit/etc accounts (which he never did)

I'll have to explore the .com more. I think it will work for us.

I use this a fair bit. The amount of times it mis-classifies a spend though can get tiresome to fix.

I've been using Mint for a couple of years now. It's great. Couldn't live without it. I have the app at my fingertips at all times and always know where we stand for all budget categories. We use it to track everything.

As for mis-labeled transactions, you can edit it to always recognize transactions as any category you want, so if you always want Store X to show as "Groceries" it will do that - and you can always edit individual lines after that point if you want to change just one for something else ("Gift", for example).
