Minors using MDE for Mobile Ordering

Good morning!

I've looked over the interwebs and couldn't find an answer, so I knew that I could find it here! DD is 17 and going to WDW next week. I've been running through MDE with her, and we found that she doesn't have the ability to get through to mobile ordering like I do. Is there a block on minors using mobile ordering? Or is this a setting that can be changed?

Is she logged in under her own MDE account or yours? I don't think the app would know who was using it if she was logged in under your account. My kids have been charging to their magic bands for years, so I'm assuming mobile ordering would be the same. She does have to have some form of payment though.

I don't know the answer to this specifically, but if it isn't possible to give a minor charging privileges in the app, can she just sign in to your MDE account rather than her own? DH and I both signed in with my user name and password on each of our phones and were each able to place mobile orders. It was handy because I could place the order but he could use his phone to check "I'm here make my food" at the CS restaurant and pick it up and vice versa.

She's logged into her own MDE account, and of course, they know how old she is. I also thought about just letting her use my account, but since she's going by herself, my account doesn't have anything under "My Plans."

Luckily the app takes gift cards as a form of payment, so she's being sent with that card with the intent on using it to pay through for Mobile orders.

It won't matter if there's nothing under "my plans." She can still order food under the account.
