Minnie's House is Closed?

I just read that as of tomorrow, Minnie's House is closed for most of September for refurb? Ack, my little ones will be so disappointed! I know we'll still find Minnie elsewhere in Disneyland, but will she be in Toontown too? One of our favorite memories is of our children skipping through Toontown holding Minnie's hands on our first day in Disneyland on our last trip.

Any insight? They still remember "playing" with Minnie.

I'm assuming its to re-paint and stuff like that (I went in the begining of August and noticed her house needed some TLC)
But as far as official info I haven't heard anything. Most characters are walking around Toontown still, so you may have a chance to see her there. I also saw her along with tons of other characters at the start of main st. the area where your picture in your signature is located!
I do remember seeing her in DCA by that plane in her aviator gear, like as you're walking from soarin' to GRR....super cute!!

I went through her house on Sunday, but I'm not sure if it is now closed. She was absent. However, the amount of CMs at the front made me think she was just taking a break.

I always saw Minnie out in FRONT of her house anyway--there's a good chance she'll be at or near her house, even if it's under refurb.

We noticed that too when we were there in late August. It definitely needed some touchup care.

We saw Goofy at DCA near the plane with his aviator getup. My daughter loved it!

Yesterday at about 11 am, we found Minnie doing a meet and greet in Toontown near the exit of Roger Rabbit.
So she'll still be around, but not at her house.
